RE: Question on Hydraulic Fluid

If the fluid in the Lippert level up is clear it is NOT transmission fluid… It is AW32 hydraulic oil.. nit all Lippert level up systems come from factory with Red ATF.. it depends on the builder and what they use.. My 2014 Keystone Alpine has clear fluid and is most certainly AW32..

RE: Slide out drifts open

Hyd slide out creeping out when closed is caused by 1. Air in system. Cycle slides in and out 3 to 5 times to purge air 2. Internal or external leak on slide actuator 3. Hydac solenoid valve .. only one for hyd slides nit fully closed in manual override mode CW) or sticking valve DO NOT use a bar or anything else to keep hyd slides closed .. 2000 psi is used to keep slides closed or open and if leak is internal on actuator your can tear up your slide by locking in place

RE: trailer brakes failed, any brake experts on here?

When is the last time you removed the hubs in your toy hauler and inspected the brake magnets and wiring to each... that’s where I’d go considering the age of the unit..l We owned a 2006 and 2007 Aftitude,... good units... The brake magnets are all wired in parallel and feed via one set of wires ... this should be easy to isolate and you can disconnect each magnet at back side of hub and do a quick resistance check of the brake magnet to verify its within spec Should measure around 3.2 to 3.5 o(ms on each magnet when measured one by one
