RE: Generator 2000i problems

I have a Chraftsman tractor that kept running rough and dying. Replaced gas cap. Problem solved. Not sure that is your problem. Worked for me.

We have to move

Hi All We are in Jacksonville Fl. until around Jan. 15. We have to move. We would like to find a nice RV park\resort around central Florida, the Tampa\Orlando area. The places on the beach in the panhandle are booked. Anyone know of any parks that have vacancies for a months stay. Any suggestions are really appreciated. AL and Sharon

RE: Get camera/wires out SuperDuty tailgate?(Camera Source=$496)

Just installed camera on a 5th wheel V tailgate. I don't have the ladder but fished the camera and entire harness out of the tailgate. I removed the panel on the inside of the tailgate and getting at the clips was relatively easy. I ordered a camera relocation kit through Custom Flow, the people who made the tailgate. It included a plastic box to install the factory camera. The power lock part of the harness is no longer used.

RE: New Tires Today

Bought our Goodyear Endurance tires one day after our first blowout on our 3 year old Constancy brand tires that came on our Cedar Creek. 2018 trailer. Tires were over a year old when we bought new trailer. Got an estimate from a body shop to repair the damage.

RE: Dish & Wally Receiver

My Playmaker came with only a 30' cable. The guy from "Dish for my RV" said you have to include the length of cable in the wall. Mine is about 20'from the dock to the reciever. He stressed check your RG6 in the wall and anyting over 50' expect trouble. He may have been covering for the products he sells. For the signal meter click menu....diagnostics....not sure where in that list is the satellites and signal strength.

RE: Gardiner Montana

There are two nice parks in Gardener. One is "in town" We have stayed there twice. Not bad at all. The other is about a mile North. We stayed there several times. It has many retired full time RVers that WorKamp in the park. Fewer children. DW said they had the cleanest wash rooms and laundry she had ever seen. I would recommend either one. In season make reservations early.

Nice parks around Vegas

Hey everyone We are looking to spend next winter in the Las Vegas area. Nevada or Arizona (never been there). Last two winters in Florida. I look for the RV/resort type parks. Full hook up. Concrete pads, good roads. I am concerned about making timely reservations. Any and all recommendations appreciated. 2018 Cedar Creek 5er. Thanks AL

Which diesel engine oil.

Ordered a 2019 F-350 with the 6.7 diesel. Trading my Triton V-10 gas. I always used Valvoline. Never had an oil issue. Never had a diesel. There are several brands of oil out there You guys are the experts. What oil do you use?. Is synthetic my only choice? Thanks in advance AL

RE: RV Parks charging for water use?

We spent a month in Jacksonville.(Sun Resort) No fee for electric or water. $10 fee to wash our truck and 5th wheel. There were meters on the pedestals so longer stays might be metered. Very happy with that park.

RE: National Park and National Forests Bummer

Privatizing anything rarely goes better for the consumer. Write to the Dept. of Interior and register a complaint.

RE: 6.7 Diesel fuel mileage

I like the new Ford 7.3. It has pushrods and doesn’t need to turn 6thousand eleventeen rpm to do the work. Burns gasohol. Wonder how it would pull if it had a turbocharger? Where did you get your info on the new 7.3? I didn't think they had announced anything?

6.7 Diesel fuel mileage

Looking at a 2019 F-350 with a 6.7 diesel. Currently have a Triton V-10 that gets about 9 mpg. (about 6 mpg towing.) The sticker doesn't list mileage on the diesel. Wondering if the diesel gets better mpg and will it be enough to offset the higher cost of diesel fuel?(3.31 rear end) Thanks AL

RE: Route Thru the Big Horns

I think Casper to Thermopolis to Cody is the easiest. I have a gas engine too.
