RE: Refrigerator Interior fan ?

I had a few old tower computers laying around. I pulled the fans out of those and put two behind the fride and one inside on a switch connected to the 12v light wire. Works wonderful and cost nothing.

RE: Level Mate Pro

I use the levelmate pro and the anderson level blocks. Best thing ever! I highly recommend them. This is my first TT and after watching some YouTube rv'ers that use them it was the first thing I purchased.

RE: Wanting to upgrade truck tires. Need advice.

I just put a set of the Cooper AT3 XLT's on mine the same size and they are load range E...they were $810 for the set installed and have a $70 rebate but I think that ends very soon...have a 60k warranty, quiet as can be, and have the snowflake symbol on them also, and look pretty dang cool too! Oh and made in the USA Wow where did you get that price? That's a great price. How did those affect you mpg? They look like they are about 10 pounds heavier each than my current ones. I really like those but seems like overkill for my little half ton haha. But they may help with the towing feel with my TT connected.

RE: Wanting to upgrade truck tires. Need advice.

I like their at3 xlt tires. They have a 120 load rating and are 10 ply. For sure an upgrade from my current tires. I think I like those better than the Nittos!

Wanting to upgrade truck tires. Need advice.

So I have a 2016 F150 platinum 3.5 eco, 6.5 ft bet. It currently has 275/55/20 tires on it. They are Hankook Dynapro ATM tires 113 load rating and T speed rating. I would like a heavier duty tire for towing. I have seen the Nitto Terra Grappler and it has a 117 load rating which is better and I like the look. I would like a off road type tire as I do often have to travel off road for work. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!

RE: BAE batteries?

I will be honest and say I'm not sure on the weight. I have weighed the truck but not the trailer. I never travel with full I would imagine I would be ok with the weight. But not 100% sure.

BAE batteries?

So I found some new BAE 6v 10 ogi 250-N6 la for a pretty good price. They do not list rv`s as a use....but thoughts? I was getting ready to get some Duracell 6v`s from Sam's but then ran across the BAE`s. He only wants like $150 each for them. Website for the batteries are Its says DOD could be up to 80% Thanks in advance for any input!

RE: Looking at new better tires, need advice.

Wow,thank you all for the recommendations! I will look at the date here in a few days when I stop by the storage location. I will order some tires here in the next month and get ready for the season! I purchased the rig in August of 2019 so I'm pumped to get to use it all season! I would use it when it gets cold but the DW is NOT interested if its cold:(

RE: Looking at new better tires, need advice.

Dry weight is right at 5,000 and cargo capacity is right at 2,000.

Looking at new better tires, need advice.

So, I have a 2007 Keystone Outback 23rs. The tires that are on it are 205/75R14's they are aged and looking worn. I would like to replace them with a better option. I know exactly squat about tires and load ranges ect.... What would be a good option to go with for replacements? Thanks in advance!

RE: Who can help me pick out a 600 watt solar sytem?

This kit is usually about $850 on amazon but is on sale for $530 right now. Buy two more panels to get you to the 600 watts and your good. I have been watching it for almost a year on amazon. This is the cheapest I have seen it. Renogy 400 Watt 12 Volt Off Grid Solar Premium Kit with Monocrystalline Solar Panel and 40A MPPT Rover Controller/Mounting Z Brackets/MC4 Adaptor Kit/Tray Cables Fuse set /MC4 fuse Hopefully the link works......I have not posted a link before!

RE: Ultimate power inverter/charger question

It has a breaker on the ac output. But I should probably put another breaker on the shore power line going to the inverter. Better safe than sorry! Thanks!

RE: Ultimate power inverter/charger question

The storage I'm hoping won't be too big of an issue..... there is a bit of angle at the top front where I will mount it. So my hopes are it will not impede storage too bad. I won't know for sure until I grab her out of storage. I like the idea of putting plugs on to easily swap supplies if need be.

RE: Ultimate power inverter/charger question

Yes my plan was to just disconnect the stock coverter/charger. Then run the 120v wire from the shore power plug up to the inverter/charger in the front compartment so it was close to the battery bank. Then run the output 120v back to the breaker panel. If that would work how big of 120v cable do you think would be safe? To and from the inverter/charger.

Ultimate power inverter/charger question

Hello all! I have a question for all of you more experienced than I in the RV area. I just picked up a ultimate power 3000 watt pure sine inverter/charger (up12/3000pcul) for just a stupid cheap amount. I was researching 4 stage converter/chargers when I ran across it. I know it is way more inverter than I need for my 30amp outback 23rs but at the price I could not pass it up with a 4 stage charger built in. My question is... with it can't I just bypass my stock converter/charger. Wire the new inverter to the shore power line in. Then hard wire the output from the inverter/charger back to the breaker panel? And of course my rig batteries to the 12v side of the inverter/charger. Thanks in advance! Derek
