RE: Where would my LP regulator leak?

I had the same issue and replaced one hose and the regulator. Then decided to replace the other hose. Problem solved. The hoses will start to leak around the crimps as well as the regulator around the diaphragm. I could smell the leak but could not find it using leak detector. The hoses were getting a little "crispy" anyway so it was prudent to replace them with the regulator. Curly

RE: TireMinder i10 TPMS

TST will go on sale from time to time. Or, you could call them and see if they will make you a deal. They are very helpful over the phone on technical questions also. Curly

RE: Overnight parking going places?

Years ago we camped by using the Woodall camping guide book. Sometimes before we left home we would call ahead guessing how many miles we could/would drive in a day before we stopped. Sometimes we just went to the campground with directions from the book and we were lucky to fine a space and sometimes, not. Today is a whole different bag of fish. We plan ahead now and usually make reservations in local campgrounds. That gives us peace of mind knowing we do have a safe place to stay and who knows, if it is nice enough we play tourist there for a couple of additional days. Curly

RE: It's a wonderful day: COVID vaccinations

Here in Arizona they are running out of vaccine, don't have mass vaccination sites set up, and have not completed teachers or police yet. They don't even have an idea of when the 65-74 group will be allowed. Had to register with the state site 2 hours away for some time in February. Not good. Curly

RE: TireMinder i10 TPMS

TST507 has saved me three times now. Had a tire with a leaky valve stem on brand new tires and it caught the slow leak so I could get it fixed before any time damage. Second and third times were nails in the tires one with a fast leak and one with a slow leak. Was on the road in Denver and the fast leak happened and I was able to pull over and change times before it hit 65 psi. I was running 80 psi in the trailer tires. Alerted us very quickly. Saved me money from ruining a tire. Screen is very easy to read and it gives air pressure and tire temp. Curly

RE: Newer 5ers, Slider Hitch Required For Short Beds?

Just one more note, make sure of your bed/hitch height before you go with a slider. My trailer really doesn't need the slider but I thought I had to have one. The slider will add to your hitch height and it could make your trailer nose high. I had that issue with mine. Got rid of the slider and so far we are good. Curly

RE: 5th wheel hitch suggestion

Just in case it could matter, the slider will add height to your hitch and if your truck is tall anyway, it could make the trailer ride nose high. Been there, done that Curly

RE: Turning Point pin boxes on new campers!

It's hard enough to match a truck, hitch, and trailer without being stuck with a non-adjustable hitch. I am nose high with mine now due to the truck height and am not a happy camper even though I have a fully adjustable hitch. Curly

RE: Electric space heaters

I was also thinking about a heat strip in the A/C. We had an old Terry that had a heat strip and it was really good. Was old enough that we didn't have duct work but came out of the bottom of the A/C unit. Took the chill off and you didn't run the furnace. Do they still make them? Curly

RE: Electric space heaters

Thanks everyone for your input. I think I need to look at the wiring in the trailer to make sure the boxes are decent. It even makes me think that electric blankets could cause the same problems with their current draw. Curly

Electric space heaters

Just curious if anyone has a good safe electric heater to use to heat a 30' fifth wheel overnight? Would like to supplement the propane furnace on colder nights. Thanks, Curly
