Should be simple WiFi question, but???
My home Xfinity router outputs both a 2.4 ghz band and a 5 ghz band... I am trying to use an app on my Samsung A7 tablet that strictly requires the 2.4 band. When I look at settings / connections, it only shows the name of the WiFi network in use BUT not whether it is the 2.5 or 5 ghz which both have the same name.. Any ideas on how to determine which one the Tablet is using? Thanks in advance for any help..

No hostage situation, just don't renew your MS365 subscription.
Follow these instructions at Uninstall Microsoft 365 and install Office (2016, etc.).

I'm still on Win10 (by choice) and removed MS365 and installed an older version of Office. No problems.
Before installing older version , When asked for MS Account info, did you create a new account or use what was already registered?

Windows 11 Media Player Version 11.2303.10.0... Not a big deal but frustrating with Win 11 Media Player.. I am able to make my own playlists with no problem.. However within a day or two, not only are my Playlists listed, but there are playlists that have been made for every other album / artist in my 500 GB External drive...I got around this by naming my playlists starting with 0000 whatever and they now appear first, but why are thousands of other playlists generated? Just a curious mind wants to know... Lesson learned..should have bought my new computer loaded with Win 10 instead of having to learn / suffer with Win 11..

Microsoft 365 removal
My Win 11 computer came with a free year of MS Office 365..I don't like it and was very comfortable with Office 2016 on my last PC. I have tried to get an answer for MS for my question, but all they tell me is I can renew 365 for $99... I asked them, "Can I remove MS Office 365 from my Windows 11 system and replace it with a MS Office 2016 Program?" Again they refused to answer but reiterated I can renew 365 when expires and furthermore, everything created in Office using 365 will disappear and cannot be recovered. Anyone removed 365 and replaced it? This appears to be a "Hostage" situation...

Thanks to all that responded.. The problem has been resolved using several methods mentioned in your comments / responses.. My major concern was that my C: drive (SSD) was almost full and I didn't like that.. When I analyzed my desktop, I found 2 folders that I had used when making a 30 minute video of a house being installed.. little did I realize that each one had 15 GB plus of data in them.. I copied and pasted both of them to the H: drive, verified they were there and then deleted them form C: drive. That reduced the 256 GB C: by 30 GB and brought it to a very acceptable level.. AGAIN.. thanks to all for taking time to respond to my question. This RV Forum regardless of subject is top notch and so are the contributors..

Just curious, do you really need an H partition. I have been heavy computing for 30 years and never needed different partitions on my internal or external drives. Thanks.
The new drive installed is labeled "H' and has no partitions.. the external USB 1Gb hard drive has partitions.. but "H" is the entire drive label..

The Copy/Paste procedure is a bit tedious when compared to the Copy to Folder/ Move to Folder alternative. These choices don't appear on the context menu, but can be easily added with a registry modification. For information on how to do this, go to the following link:
Copy /Move
The "Copy To" option copies the information to the new location and leaves the original intact, while "Move To" deletes it from the original location.
Thanks for the information..that would work if the new HDD (H:) would appear as a place to move it to..but the drive (H:) does not appear as an option..all other USB drives do appear but not installed (H:).. H: does appear when looking at Explorer though.. Thanks again as progress is progress...

We're getting a new Dell laptop as soon as we get home in 3 weeks.
W11, 500GB SSD.
Is "send to" a new feature of W11? I've always used copy / paste for other W dot X OS'es.
Not new feature..use it on Win 10 all thr time.. I can copy / past to "H" but drive "H" is the only one not available when using Send To option..

Windows 11 Experts?
I have a new Dell desktop..loaded with Win 11 (ugh!) I have a external 1 TB multi partitioned hard drive connected using USB.. The new computer came with a 256 GB SSD (C:) installed.. (mistake on my part).. I then installed internally another 500 GB HD in the slot provided in the new computer, formatted it and all is well and designated this drive letter H: .. When using file explorer, drive H: appears as the other external drive, or internal SSD AND I can easily access this drive and add what I want to it with no problem..BUT.. when I have a file or something that I want to send to it, I click "Send to" and every available drive connected to the computer is an option EXCEPT Drive H (the installed 500 GB HDD).. I have scoured the inet for answers to this issue to no avail.. ANY IDEAS would be appreciated..Just when I had Windows 10 figured out, 11 came along with the new machine and I am at ground zero on many issues..Have a nice day.. Thanks

Mopkka tank Sensors
Anyone had experiences with Mopeka Tank Sensors / panel. I installed my system several years ago with 3 sensors..and since then Mopeka has replaced each one of them at least once and sometimes twice..Reasons; Rubber diaelectric (sp?) on bottom has fallen from sensor, unit just failed to transmit Bluetooth to either the app or wall mounted panel, or the batteries only lasted 3/5 months.. At the point now of just removing the system all together since Mopeka changed their website and it is difficult to get answers or help.. Just my rant but wondering what others have experienced..

Windows Media Player problems
Just fishing for ideas as I have exhausted and worn out my fingers searching the inet for solutions... I am running Windows 11 and have been using Windows Media Player to play numerous playlists I have created over the past few yesrs in my shop and on the patio..with no problem..UNTIL THIS WEEKEND...
Now whenever I select a Playlist to start as I have done many, many times before, I get the following message on my screen...
"Couldn't open Dion (name of song) - as we can't get at your storage right now. Wait a bit and try again"...
Both the Media Player Program and the song/playlist is on the same SSD drive (c).
Any ideas or should I trash Media Player and try something like Groove
(sp) music.
Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.. Travel and stay safe..

Just a thought...Once a large number of people dump Dish/DTV satellite TV in favor of streaming, and current Internet Providers cannot provide sufficient bandwidth to support streaming... what will happen? Internet providers will have to make improvements to existing distribution systems at a cost of $$$? which will raise the cost of Internet service to the end user?

Directv ??? what are they doing???
Why all of a sudden, when using a standard 18" oval antenna connected to an R-22 (with HD) receiver, we are receiving HD (720p) programming on channels 202, 229, 254 and 360 plus several others.. No complaint, but have been told that our antenna, receiver, no B band converter setup would only receive 480 programming. When changing channels for example from 206 (480 light in receiver is on) to 360, (720 p) light on receiver comes on and the same is noted on the HD tv it is connected to.. Only several channels do this.. Same thing occurs when using our Winegard GM-1518 antenna when in the rv. The DTV online schedule schedule shows both the 360 FNCHD AND 360 FNC.. Just curious??

Problem resolved.. using old computer, started DVD Catalyst, and selected an older Samsung Pad with similar display settings as the A7...copied and converted the video and loaded it into the A7.. Thank goodness I kept the old PC..

Lately, although I can access my Dropbox files OK, whenever I try to log in to my Dropbox account from any of my computers, I get the message displayed in attached photo.. I have searched the INET but none of it makes sense to me..I have tried using both Chrome and Firefox browsers.. same results.. Ideas..

localhost domain does not match any Chooser/Server domains. Register app domains on app settings.

Video Transfer.. Help
I have several DVD's that I want to put on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 for long flights ahead.. In the past this was no problem when using my older Samsung Tab 10.1 and a program called "DVD Catalyst".. All I had to do was pick the device the DVD was going to be transferred to, hit convert and it put the DVD content in the correct format for the Tab 10.1.. Now I have a Galaxy Samsung Galaxy Tab A7, and the "DVD Catalyst" program doesn't list it as an option for conversion.. I tried the 10.1 setting and it converted it, but once copied to the Tab A7, it was just blurry images.. so that Idea didn't work.. any suggestions on another free program to accomplish this OR anyone suggest another device choice in the DVD Catalyst that would be similar to the A&..
