RE: Plug in truck bed or use plug in bumper for 5th wheel

I have an old 2012 F250. On that model the rear bumper harness used a plug to connect to the harness coming from up front. As i recall, Bargman mane an in bed harness that got its connection by acting as a sandwich between the rear two plugs. Then you cold get different lengths with 7 pin RV plug molded at a 90 degree angle for install where ever you wanted to drill in the bed. I moved mine up toward the front of the bed and it is not hard to reach on my 2 wheel drive puller.

RE: Prepping RV for private sale

yep, let google find some like yours and go from there. When i sold, that NADA price was in the ozone layer. I don't know what the deal was but at that time NADA was way above reality. Oh an BTW, If I was to open the door and smell any dampness, mold, etc, I would not go any further.

RE: melting plug

Dustin, are you referring to the same RV park plug or is this happening at more than one park?

RE: Coast on the uphills accelerate on the downhills

So I went to the OP to check up on the age of the TV. Cus I was surprised no one mentioned the TC lock up issue. I may be wrong but think the TC on that vehicle stayed locked up when down shifting or locked up again after the down shift was completed. I am a Ford motor head so what do you all think about the chev?

RE: Cash Vs. Finance

:h I just had a thought come to mind. This reminds me of the ole saying, "pole vaulting over mouse t*rds. :W We wrote a check for the last two RV's and did the same on a new set of wheels for the DW yesterday. However we would never pay for something in full till we can give it a whirl and kick the tires.

RE: Where is #2 Black tank pull valve Crusader ?

Ohhhh, this reminded me of the black and grey being cross labeled on my fifth wheel. Either the assembly guy made a mistake or he is still laughing about the nut roll he put me in. :B

RE: GAS 6.6 GM

No experience here, gonna keep the 6.2 Ford. I keep wondering about the gas consumption on these new mountain motors.

RE: Upgrading Brakes Question

Our trucks need great brakes if we are ever in an emergency situation. The thing is I've never been in an emergency situation. There has been a couple times on my bike that I hit the brakes a little hard for a split second and it seems it takes very little effort to skid the back wheel. (My bike doesn't have antilock braking). My point is I could spend money on expensive brakes but how would I guage the improvement. If I kept my truck long enough I think I would get about 200k miles on the factory brakes. That is done by sticking the decal that is provided in a high vis place. :B

RE: RV Crushes Truck

I am not buying that corney production. As Cummins sated, it is shown that the slide bar is behind the king pin. If this thing is real, the only way possible in my eyes is if the slide bar was lower than the notch in the king pin and thus the king pin slipped over the bar.

RE: Cleaning top of slideout

"But here is another idea- 9.5 times out of 10 nothing has accumulated on top of my slide, and I don't need to do anything but look to be sure. But looking requires climbing the ladder too. How about a selfie stick for your cell phone so you can inspect from the ground?" I am with pbounds o this subject When retracting and I want to check, I pull the slide about half way in and then grab a dinette chair or my three step stool and step up and look at the portion of the slide that is retracted along with taking a gander at the rest of it. Ain't no big deal, and the last thing i can imagine is having to climb on the roof of a fifth wheel to brush something off of a slide. :h
