RE: Cotter Trout Dock

We have always stayed for years at White River RV Campground and cottages. In Flippin across the river and bridge from cotter trout dock. Back right up to river and view of the bridge.

RE: Texas RV campgrounds

We are staying for the first time at the JB Ft. Sam Houston Canyon Lake until Sunday. . $20. FHU. No WiFi, cable. Check in staff Not the friendliness. Easy to get to. Close to New Braunfels. Husband was happy to see an In-N-Out a mile away. We grew up eating at in n out. Thks for all the suggests. I need to check out the other suggestions. Tomorrow we’ll check out Canyon lake. Canyon lake is really nice. While we were here we checked out the COE it also very nice. We are staying on the army side. We have FHU and a peak at the lake from our RV. The AF side is more open to the lake. Enjoyed the town of Gruene that was close by. Music and wine tasting. Tomorrow off to Proctor COE for a few days. Thanks for all the suggestions. We will be back to visit them.

RE: Texas RV campgrounds

May I ask where you stayed (and what you thought of it) around the NAS? I lived near there some decades ago and plan on visiting soon. We stayed on base NAS. They have a really nice campground right on the water. You have to be military, retired, etc. we have stayed here twice. WiFi, FHU, Free laundry, group room. No weapons. Close to everything.

RE: Trip to Northeast states

bigred1cav Thanks for the suggestions. We have been to the R & R hall of fame. My husband is a big music fan. We will have to pass on the football not interested, only in fishing and hunting. We are considering Canada. We will have a small dog with us this time so not sure. But we are bringing passports. We have been to the Canada side of Niagra Falls. Thanks. Greyhook - Didn't realize the Adirondacks state park was that big. Sounds like a must see. Thanks for all the info. I'm getting excited for this trip. It will be our longest since we just retired. Thanks Kzoocamper - Can't miss Ben and Jerry's. Love ice cream. Thanks All
