RE: Healthy Eating

actually chocolate milk is quite a bit better than some treats. It is great for replacing electrolytes. many athletes found it better than Gatorade.

RE: Food!

How about a nice Wild Caught Salmon or other fish. Easy to grill and tastes great. A few veggies like asparagus or squash and a little cottage cheese with some fruit. A salad also goes well with this dish. I bought some sliced corn beef today along with some baby swiss cheese, pumpernickel bread , a can of Franks sweet kraut and some thousand island dressing. Change it up by substituting slaw for the Kraut or have both. also worhs well with the standard Rye bread.

RE: Changes to Snowbird lifestyle and Snowbird communitiess

I was thinking about all of this and it seems to me we are all itching to get back to normal. The new normal will be established after we find out what and where are exposure will be. As for us we left the Snowbird park March 25th and have more or less been in the hunker down mode since. My mother is still alive but with health issues DW has some autoimmune issues and I have some health issues myself so it is prudent for us to be on the extremely cautious side Not planning on going south this year but that could change I can,t imagine the traffic jams going south if this thing gets under some kind of control the latter part of the year. I thought about my young life and remembering back I don,t think I would have given this virus as much respect as I do now. I also thought about my time time spent in Nam lonely and sequestered from the fine things in life. The difference between the Nam and the virus there was date of departure from the Nam and none yet for the virus We spent our winters in a snowbird park because we loved the environment Chats in the street, Golf, Kayaking, Dances Meals in the club house and the occasional pot luck. Because I enjoy those things so much I will for the duration sit at home and dream of the good times that will return Also will look towards meeting again with my Canadian friends that we enjoyed good times with. My advise to anyone at this time is to follow your heart and common sense and resist your urges and temptations.

RE: 2Toad rver.

Until recently, we had 2 Toads. I have a 2 door Jeep Wrangler and the wife had a 4 door Wrangler. I had them both setup for towing. Sometimes it was nice to have the bigger Jeep, especially when one of our nieces came with us. The wife recently traded in her 2014 Wrangler on a new 2020 4 door Wrangler. I am debating on wether to get it setup to tow. Wow sorry to hear about your daughters problems sounds like a not so happy camper. I actually have a small spare to carry in the bay of the MH. when not pulling we have the Res Q Pro for an incident locally that comes with the car. As far as shocks wow that is a big price hope I don't have that problem,

2Toad rver.

Not a post about toads so much but how lifestyles can change. My DW has hated the mini van that i leased 2.5 years ago she says it was too big. I have a Chevy HHR ( 2nd one ) that has been our toad. I like the little car. I started looking for a Taad thinking I would sell the HHR as I thought I might be under water if I dumped the Pacifica 6 months early. Well I found a 2016 low miles Cadillac SRX at a great price. I asked the dealer about the Pacifica and he threw a number at me that would clear the lease for more than the pay off. long story short I traded the Pacifica for the SRX and bought it outright with no more lease or payment. I am going to get the base plate installed on the SRX and also keep the little HHR to drive around here and to tow on our adventures that we don't need the nice car for. It will also let us tow the Caddy to the snowbird destination and other trips where we want a little nicer car. Life is good and at least for now the 2 toads seem like a workable plan. BTW I have the RVI 3 brake so easy to switch back and forth. Using my stimulus check to keep some RV parts and installers employed.

RE: Duracell Golf Cart Batteries GC 2

I have four of the Duracell batteries in my golf cart I mean 8 they have served me very well and cost was under $100 each I bought them from Batteries Plus as I said I am fine with them and I use my golf cart batteries much harder than the motorhome batteries when I am ready to change my motorhome batteries I will replace my two 12 volts with two of the duracell's good luck maybe Batteries Plus is in the Utah area How long ago did you buy these batteries? The cheapest GC batteries I see on there web site was $189 apiece. I bought them 1.5 years ago. I bought them in Gainesville Fl. at Batteries Plus they brought them 18 miles to me, installed them and took the old batteries away. The bring to and haul away cost me $50.00 sorry for the delay in responding.
