Memphis

Any nice campgrounds in the nice part of town or a RV spots that have a little room. Will be meeting my son and girlfriend in late March. Will spend about 4 days and 3 night. Anything close to Beale Street? We have also found that Casinos seem to have nice RV spots but don't know if there are any in Memphis.

RE: Branson

Treasure Lake is very big rig friendly. Its a member only park, but you can call and ask if they would allow non members.

RE: I need new Tires

Update, went to see my son in Vicksburg and Goodyear Endurance tire worked well. They do seem to have a lower tread profile but performed well at 65lbs of air with little to none trailer roll. Put about 1000 miles on them from Tulsa to Vicksburg and back. Side note...we left tulsa thursday evening and got to vicksburg friday night. hurricane Delta hit us about 12:30 am and it was WINDY till about 5am. Incredible history in Vicksburg

RE: tire pressure

Goodyear recommended it. Corporate. I did not ask if he was a engineer and would love a tire engineer to weigh in. This is the manufacture recommendation. Long story but when I blew a tire this year coming home from Branson I knew it was time to put a set of new tires on and get rid of original tires. I ordered new tires from tire rack, but after delays of a month and a half I called Goodyear direct and they laughed and said i could get a set installed the next day at a Goodyear dealer in Tulsa. I canceled my order at Tire Rack and just went to a Goodyear dealer. Not passing judgement but think that TR just wanted to sell cheaper tires...

RE: tire pressure

I just had the Goodyear Endurance installed 5 days ago. Goodyear recommended and told me to keep the tires AT 65lbs per tire unless I was at MAX LOAD. Do not run tires at MAX LOAD unless at full weight capacity

RE: Nashville

Thank you so much. we will be passing through and Uber seems the way to go. Thought we would eat some hot chicken and waffles and have a drink or two. so downtown is ONE SPOT to go and the BROADWAY is another.

Nashville

Nice clean spots in Nashville maybe close to strip or do we stay away at a nice park and uber in?

TPMS will be another addition for me as well...

RE: Checking on Wheel Bearing Heat

Yes I think excessive heat (300) would affect bearing failure. I usually check bearings during stops cause my bladder is 2 hours or less range and typically they stay cool. please show picture of temp gun you use and is it accurate.

Checking on Wheel Bearing Heat

I was wondering how many of you check your hubs for overheating when you stop and get gas or pit stops. While driving home from Branson (232 miles total one way) I stopped for gas and two hubs were kind of hot (different axles) but touchable and two were cold. I took the camper yesterday to get the bearings checked. I just had them packed last year and I told the service writer that the technician may have tightened two of them down to tight. Since repacking last year I have only driven 1200 miles and I don't consider that excessive miles. I would assume while driving they should all be close to same temperature.

RE: Coating epdm roof on our fifth wheel.

I am digging the picture of the roof. How did you do the rounded edges? Does it run off?
