RE: Class C RV Bomb

Just for the record, Marcus Lemonis put up $250,000 to add to the reward!

RE: Yep....Gettin' older

Due to the volume, Costco is the largest seller of hearing aids in the country. They get tremendous discounts and do not sell on commission

RE: Collapsible ladder?

I used to carry a step ladder strapped to the rear ladder on the fiver. Got tired of that and now carry one of these in the basement:

Rob
Great ladders and don’t take up a lot of room

RE: Cell phone signal Booster ?

Like what has been said, if there is no service a booster will not help.
I have been using Fusion2Go with pretty good success.

RE: cleaning the outside of the 5'er

Try a foam cannon.
It attaches to your power washer. Several good foaming soaps out there

RE: The trashing of our public lands.

Yes the trashing of America is gonna continue UNTIL the government steps in and starts making trash disposal, recycling, energy conservation subjects that need to be taught to the public; won’t stop 100% of problems but will start to minimize the issues. Also companies need to look into packaging and how their products are winding up in places other than the garbage dump/recycling center.... We live on the road & camphost so we are very aware of this issue.
No amount of government mandates will make a slob not be a slob!

RE: Bad Water Smell

If you leave untreated water (no chlorination) it will go bad quickly. I drain mine and flush with vinegar.

New hitch

Been towing for several years with a Pull Superglide and switched to the Andersen Ultimate
Pullrite:
was hard to hook and unhook unless level and lined up perfectly
Had a lot of chucking on bad roads
Heavy as all get out to remove and reset
Andersen:
Breeze to hook up and in hook
Very smooth ride
Take it out with one hand and store in the basement
Why oh why did I wait so long
As with anything, your mileage may vary!

RE: Laura evacuation.

State of Texas sent two C 130 to Port Arthur to pick up the recalcitrant ones who had not evacuated. They left empty because no one showed up!

RE: Good plot, bad language

Spending more time indoors, as many are, I find myself watching more free movies on sites such as YouTube, Vudu and popcornflix. My particular likes are sci-fi and westerns. What annoys me is the usage of foul language,(not so much in Westerns) That permeates many movies today. It’s as if producers feel it’s necessary to attract viewers by using offensive language. Often, a sci-fi movie will have an interesting plot and then ruin it with the foul language. I wind up shutting it down usually, but sometimes I’ll wait to see if more cussing appears, then I will leave immediately.. I realize these film makers are only a reflection of society in general, so the trend won’t change. I hear foul language from both men and women virtually every day in my area. Too bad I can’t turn them off! :M
Check out the old Rifleman episodes on YouTube.
I am on season 4 after watching the old Have Gun Will Travel

Once you hit the Texas Panhandle and into Oklahoma you won’t see many trees at all, much less a forest!

RE: Purchasing land to live on in DC area - zoning questions

Try Cherry Hiil RV for short term until you can find something permanent
I've already indicated I am not interested in parks and Cherry Hill is the very last item on my list, they don't have have monthly rates.
It's a place to stay if you stop in town for 3 days and wanted to be close to everything. Definitely not what I am looking for.
I stayed there for 18 months in a monthly rate, so yes they do. You may not like it or the price but they do have monthly rates!
