RE: Nascar Follies

They had a clip on Race Hub that they were testing short tracks with rain tires. Not sure I’d want to sit in the rain for the whole race, but I could watch the circus on TV.

RE: Air Conditioning Silencer from Wacko Products???

I had 2 Bighorns and over at their forum someone came up with “the tent in the vent”. Basically the air comes straight down, hits the cover, and has to find its way to the side ducts. Fix is to make a piece of sheet metal into the shape of a V. Turn the V upside down like this ^. Furnace tape it to the ducts and fill any gaps so when the air come down it hits the^ and flows directly to the vents. I made my V with curves it for a better flow. Made air quieter and much stronger. Only had one AC in our Bighorns and it worked great. Air to the bedroom was very much improved. Only downside is all the sawdust you have to clean up that was blown out of the vents, LOL. Our Nu-Wa AC was installed much better and works great so I haven’t needed to do that mod.

RE: Chevrolet exits all ICE production by 2035

As far as trucks go I see them as the last bastion for ICE. yes they will be the last to fall. You will not just have a DRW or 1 ton pick up as a grocery getter. You will only own one if you absolutely must. 45' DP's and 42' toy haulers will exist but in much smaller quantities than we see them today. RV'ing will not go away But it will adjust and adapt to the prevailing technology Yep, RVs will be lighter and built cheaper, if that’s possible.

RE: Better ride when not towing?

My trucks 19 years old. Had stock shocks and Ranchos. Put Bilstein shocks on 3-4 ago, best ride ever loaded and unloaded.

RE: Odor control for plastic urinal installatoon

Use one of those urine jugs like the give you in the hospital. When nature calls use it. Pour it out when you go inside. Works for me.

RE: Fry's Electronics shutting down 30 stores in 9 states

Just before Radio Shack closed up there was hardly an employee that could tell you how to even plug in one of their products. Internet shopping is faster, cheaper and less stressful.

RE: Chevrolet exits all ICE production by 2035

If they don’t have battery that will last any longer and charge in 10-20 minutes the highways are going to be one big cluster.

RE: Help! Nu Wa manual desperately needed

Kansas RV Center NuWa still has an RV center here. Daryl and Rick are a wealth on information on the HitchHikers. Give them a call. They provide great service. Ken Great! Thought they just quit everything.

RE: A little lighter subject to discuss

Lay the bike on its side. Remove air and take one side of tire off rim. Go around the rim and remove tube. Pump tube up to find then patch leak. Go around the rim reinstalling tube and tire. Fill with air. All done not taking wheel off bike. Front tire, just take the wheel off and fix flat.
