How about the radiator or the fan? Does it overheat on no load?

RE: Lippert 18v Awning

My big awning works off of 12 V has a Torginol Spring on one end like a garage door and maybe that is not adjusted properly. If your drill Battery works and the onboard battery does not it might mean that the onboard battery is not big enough or else the awning is not adjusted properly. Without me being there and helping you troubleshoot it’s a little hard To offer suggestions. You may call me if you like and we can talk about it over the phone.

RE: Small Vessel Disease

If I were you, I would start with an ophthalmologist.

RE: Acceptable electrical load

I would recommend getting an energy management system from progressive industries. It monitors the power at the pedestal and if anything happens high-voltage etc. because of some fault in the underground cabling The Progressive Industries unit will cut the power to your trailer. Get the best one that you can find. It is cheap insurance compared to the appliances that could be damaged if there is a fault in the pedestal. I do not repeat do not recommend your freezers be on a GFCI circuit. They are very sensitive units and if it would trip your freezer would shut off. You may call me if you wish and we can talk about a lot of other things as well.

RE: Rooftop AC Weird???

Are there other things or outlets not working whenon generator? Do you have a transfer switch that activates when you’re on generator? Is your generator pre-wired or do you have to plug the shore cable in to the generator?

RE: Power outage/tripped breaker question

Like said above I would contact Campground and have them go check The power at the pedestal. If you’re going to worry about it all week till you get back there, then you might have to go To get your peace of mind.

RE: GFCI Issue looking for a solution

GFCIs trip because there is a grounding fault downstream of the GFCI. I suspect that something was plugged in to one of those downstream outlets while you were camping but removed while you were traveling back home. It is not a problem with the input powed. You may call me and we can talk about it over the phone. I have helped a number of people that way. I am a retired electrical engineer and A Professional troubleshooter.

RE: TIRES 22,5

Might check on firestone as well. I put firestones on mine the last time instead of Michelin‘s. Firestone is it giving me good service and they had a really good price.

RE: Chassis Battery Voltage Fluxuating while driving

You might have a bad battery, loose connections, or a bad alternator. By the way if the refrigerator has 12 V it will run on propane just fine. The inverter should not be needed to run the refrigerator.

RE: Dometic Duo Therm Air Conditioner--does it blow in debris?

No. There is no exchange of inside and outside air on air conditioners.

RE: towing with Subaru Ascent

If the trailer is loaded properly you should not need a sway bar. If it was me I would try it first before I invested in a sway bar.

RE: Dometic DM2652 Refer Not Working

Is the polarity correct on the 12 V coming into the board?

RE: Dometic DM2652 Refer Not Working

The 120 V supply in my refrigerator comes from a GFI in my bathroom. I would suggest you check your GFI’s add to see if any are tripped.

RE: Atwood water heater burnt 110v wire

BB has it right. I would just repair the wire. Make sure the connection is clean and tight. Give it a try and see what happens.
