RE: So Lost
A lot depends on exactly how the truck is configured (4X4,4X2, Axle ratio, Tow package?) But roughly you should be good as far as the specs go. But I dont know if I would want to drive it very far. I have had a 7.3 PSD driving on the edge and after having DRW I would never go back.
Truck specs show towing rating of 16100-21700. Carrying cap 3700-3800. Including hitch, tools fuel, dogs, people and anything you load into the Truck
Trailer specs say GVWR 15000 And hitch weight of 2500.
Everything depends on how you are loaded.
So ON PAPER it looks good.
RE: Traction Control Fault
It "feels" like the trailer braking has been reduced since the fault lite came on. There is not an ABS lite fault shown. If I spin the wheels on a gravel road the fault lite will flash. I have driven for a long time before this feature came out so I am not in a hurry to get it fixed, but if the fault causes reduced trailer braking, thats not good. I will have to get it scanned I guess.
RE: Bigfoot Hydrolic Jacks - Electrical Connection HELP!
Logically I dont think they would need to go all the way to the battery just to find ground. :) I would open one of the covers on the jack and see where the wires go. I think you may find that the ground wire goes to the frame.
