RE: Doing wheelies

As has been mentioned, some wheel covers are fancy hubcaps that can be pried off, others require the loosening of two "fake" wheel nut covers to remove. I have the pry off wheel covers and they are really tight. I have also had difficulty checking tire pressures, often cutting myself on the openings to get to the valve stem. I found an easy solution in a hex drive handle with a magnetic socket that fits the valve caps. Easy to spin the caps off, they stay in the wrench end and are easy to put back on. A job that used to take several minutes is now about 30 seconds.

RE: Class C Pros and Cons

I've had three TTs, a fifth wheel, class A and now a class C. Each has their advantages and disadvantages. I find the C convenient for all the reasons that have been mentioned. We tow a Honda CRV and that really helps in sightseeing and running errands. Hitching and unhitching is a quick and minor issue. Very happy with our class C.

RE: Folding mattresses

We wanted a little more cushion than the original folding mattress in our 2018 Chateau provided and added a two inch thick gel foam topper that we got on amazon. It does not interfere with the folding of the mattress and adds the comfort we wanted.

RE: Protection Plans for new Entegra Odyssey 24b

I've bought four rigs from La Mesa and suspect you bought from the same location (Davis). My recommendation is to use the heck out of the rig while under factory warranty, note every little thing that is not correct and have it taken care of in the first year. Keep in mind that La Mesa is a big organization, sells a lot of units and there may be a significant delay in getting an appointment for service. I agree with previous comments to save your money and NOT buy the additional coverage. I have bought them in the past when I got too caught up in the excitement of a new rig and only later noted the long list of items NOT covered. Other coverage, after the sale can be obtained from other suppliers. Enjoy your new rig, its a great way to see the country!
