RE: Border closure extended..again

I don’t think they can. I know four couples that have places in Indio, Palm Desert, La Quinta, and Tucson. At this point one says they’ll go when allowed and three say it depends on the situation there. They would be able to return but would have to quarantine if the border restrictions are still in place.

RE: Longer closure gathering momentum...

That’s an interesting statistic. I didn’t know that but cruising around Bc, AB, and YT it makes sense. FWIW I’m a snowbird and don’t want the border opened. Not going south this year or to Europe unless things change. Many in my community are long time snowbirds and none want to go south this year. Two are US citizens who have to go south and are worried about it.

RE: Are campgrounds more crowded or is it just me?

BC has been like WA for a decade and I suspect AB too. RV sales, especially trailers for family camping, are way up. Good luck getting a site in a PP this summer. We’re looking at maybe September.

RE: Class A. Wheel size

We have a 2007 32’ with 22.5s. I think my neighbours’ 30 and 31 foot Newmar’s do too.
