RE: Any Bundutec Bunducamp Owners Here??

I think you would be better off with the Northstar product, Rex Willet builds and backs a great TC.

RE: Install new cab over curtain in a Bigfoot TC, HOW?

We have a B+ and to block out the light, I used a tension rod across the cab then used a heavy fabric for my curtain. Don't know if that would work for you, but it didn't required any screws, etc. When we went to Alaska, I bought us sleep masks. They were very light weight and we got used to them quickly. They worked well. Dale X2

RE: Corona Virus and RV Travel Video

The US response has been great. If you want to see a bad response, look at Italy. The government ain't your daddy, they can't protect everyone from everything all the time. If you want to see a good response, look at South Korea. The US is just about 2 weeks behind Italy. If the White House decides to put the economy ahead of American lives, we'll wish we were as good as Italy. I hear people talking about South Korea’s response, and it is good, but it’s land mass is 1/5 that of California. The government is more authoritarian and their people listened.

RE: Found my replacement engine!

Introducing the new 502" EFI crate combo. 581 TQ @ 3,200 436.5 HP @ 4,600. This baby is READY TO WORK !!! We've been wrestling around with the idea of replacing Red with something younger and I just don't see the need. I can put that money into her and get basically a brand new truck that will out pull any new gasser.....lol. Nice:W

RE: TOW VEHICLE RECCOMENDATION

1-ton GM van with 6.0L/6-spd. Overkill? Sure. But easy, comfortable, inexpensive especially used, and reliable for 200k+ miles. X2. Great vehicle for your purposes.

RE: Bye-bye Tom Brady

Soooo many jealous can't walk or chew gum mouthy nimrods on this thread!!! Tom Brady DID win big time constantly and was a very superior quarterback but they haven't, hadn't, didn't, or couldn't. I'll take winners over losers anytime! Grow up little children! Exactly, BEST quarterback to ever play the game. Tom is a winner.:B

But - we aren't talking about Norovirus -- it is Coronavirus - not the same. It is a respiratory illness ! EXACTLY!:R

RE: Single Slide Truck Lean

It’s funny how all of the people who know about the slide issues don’t have one. Meanwhile, those of us with slides have no issues. Granted, my two slides are only 14 years old, so might fail any time. :D Seriously though, slides technology with respect to TCs has changed a lot since inception. Exactly :)

RE: The Coronavirus

I believe everyone, and I do mean everyone, should quarantine themselves for at the very least the next two years. all campgrounds, national parks, and tourist attractions will be very dangerous until then. I have seen confirmation of this on the news and on the internet. Chuck Ok Chuck.:W

RE: Shopping by phone or text

My wife sometimes shops by phone. I'm out, doing something. She calls "Will you pick up..." just a couple of things. Once in the store, the list grows. And grows. :B

RE: Shopping by phone or text

I don’t understand how a person can’t make time for shopping. When I was young, stores had regular hours, like open until 9 PM on certain nights. They were closed on Sundays, so you could go to church and visit with family, remember the Blue Laws? We all have 24 hours in a day, how you choose to use your time is on you.

RE: Tie downs

Seriously, I am asking because I want to know "What the right" thing is. Instead of being bashed, I was hoping to get some answers. I have never done this before and want to do it right! Helpful info wanted. The camper I saw was just over 1000 lbs dry weight, It was made for a 1/4 ton truck like a Tacoma. Not looking at something with a bathroom, but possibly a small kitchen area. What kind of tie downs do you use? I was hoping this forum would be helpful to a newbie, but I seem to just get berated! How can I learn if I don't ask questions. I guess this may not be the place for me to learn! Please tell us the brand and model of the camper you are considering and we can give you the proper recommendation.

RE: Thanks..and a Slide Question

We have had both slide and non-slide TC’s. If it was just myself I could get along without the slide but my wife and I like our AF 990. The slide makes it nice and roomy and when we are in one place for a few days the extra room is nice.

RE: Single Slide Truck Lean

On my AF990, the batteries, 2 - 30 lb. propane tanks, the grey and black water tanks are on the left side, which should offset the slide on the right.
