RE: one more time I need some help

Devil dog, I watched a YouTube video on your model, it appears to have 2 separate battery compartments with doors on the passenger side towards the front. Is your friend going to give you Lifeline batteries? If yes the 12 volt model for your camper is a, GPL-27T, L- 13.09”, W-6.6”, H-9.25”. For the 6 volt model for your camper is a, GPL-4CT, L-10.28”, W-7.06”, H-9.92”. Good luck and have a safe trip and enjoy Acadia NP. If you are looking for a quiet place to camp in Acadia check out Schoodic Woods in Winter Harbor, phone 207-288-1300.

RE: "Porpoising" - How to Tame the Rocking Camper

Your truck is overloaded, get a lighter camper or a bigger, stronger truck.

RE: "Porpoising" - How to Tame the Rocking Camper

I do t understand how a camper could porpoise unless the truck suspension is super overloaded, you're hauling a 10' + camper on a shortbed or you're just seeing the overhead part flex and think you're feeling it not just seeing it. Lance 650? Doesn't take a lot of truck to haul it. What truck is it in and what is done to the rear suspension? Can’t help you if we don’t have all the info on your truck, model and suspension modifications.

RE: Timbren vs. Sumo Springs

I have been using Timbrens since 2006, and chose them over the Sumos because of the rubber construction vs the poly construction of the Sumos. I used the double convolute on my 2005 1 ton and then tried the single convolute on my 2015 dually. Didn’t like the single convolute so I talked with Timbrens, after looking at different double convolute specs, and they sent me a set double convolute that I felt would ride softer and allow the truck to set level at full load. I am very pleased with my setup and you can’t beat Timbrens for their great customer service.

RE: Charleston SC

The campground at James Island County Park. It's a fairly easy 15-20 minute drive into the downtown/historic district. They also have a shuttle bus if you don't want the hassle of driving and finding a place to park. X2

RE: About to buy a TT, so confused, could use some help.

I would buy the trailer I want. Hook it up to that Toyota with a Hensley Arrow hitch and enjoy camping. WOW!:S

RE: Experiences with Onan Portable Gas Electric Generators

Install a MicroAir on your AC and get a Honda 2200i to run it.

RE: About to buy a TT, so confused, could use some help.

Towing a TT that is at the MFG.maximum weight rating and 35’ long is just asking for problems in perfect conditions. Throw a little bad weather or terrain in the mix and you won’t be a happy camper.

RE: Trailer with fixed coupler so it doesn't pivot

In order for what you are trying to achieve, you would need a caster type of assembly instead of a straight axle.

RE: Nascar Follies

Leave it to Tony to spice things up. Wonder what the settlement will be. Tony slugs heckler Tony is an idiot! What a stupid reaction on his point, hope he gets sued or better yet arrested for assault.

RE: A little more on the New ford trickeling out

Still wondering how much power this engine will make. Especially in the aftermarket once you remove the "made to meet emissions" valve/ignition timing. Why remove the emissions equipment, don’t you like to obey laws and breath clean air?

It would be nice if you could get 4.10 gears for that van.
