RE: Yellowstone NP to Glacier NP

West Glacier - just need a good road. Want to have a short visit, do the going to the sun road. Unfortumately, its mostly closed right now. West side OK, middle only for hikers and bikers, east side completely closed. Probably have to skip, do it another year.

RE: Route from the South to Glacier Natl Park

Right now, Glacier NP has 3 zones. Eastern 3rd is completely closed. Middle third is only open for hikers and bikers. Western third is open.

ONe-way roads in Yellowstone NP

We have used the little road near Gibbon Falls which is fairly old, paved with asphalt and is scenic. Might have been Virginia Cascade but can't remember. However we didn't have time for the road from Mammoth Hot Springs/Albright Visitor Center to the North Entrance, and also the Blacktail Plateau drive. I hear there is a lot of wildlife on these roads. How is the condition of the road? Asphalt? Gravel?

RE: to plug in or not to plug in when mhome is at home

We leave ours plugged in. Firstly we use the reefer as extra cold storage, plus the batteries are kept charged. The system always charges the house batteries, but I have a trickle charger on the chassis battery. I monitor and top up the electrolytes about once a month.

RE: Small Class C with out tow car

We have a 24 foot C and tow most of the time, but not always. It handles extremely well and hardly affects MPG.

RE: Parking RV at home

I suggest you install a GFCI outlet on the circuit used for the RV.

RE: Dually valve stem extensions

found mine at Pep Boys auto parts but I had to get two sets because they are short. My previous ones were the armored steel type which destroyed themselves AND my wheel simulator. Brand same SLIME.

RE: Hitch Cargo Carrier and Flat Towing

I have a hitch doupler from HF and modified it fot 12 inch separation versus the original 6 inches. I now can use any combination of a toad, a cargo carrier and a bike rack (any two) .

RE: Question on Sprinter based motorhomes

We have a Winnebago View. We really love.. Propane generator runs very clean, especailly compared to deisel. We tow a Daihatsu ROCKY, with never a problem. We use less than 2 gal of propane on a weekend. The Turbo diesel V6 MB engine has plenty of power. We get 15 MPG. Towing at 65 MPH, non-towing at 65 MPG.

Can anyone opine on the relative merits of the Pursuit 33BH versus the Windsport 34J?

RE: What can I do to revive an old VHS recorder/player

Many times mine have been resustitated by replacing the drive belts which not only wear out, but just go bad from age. Alternatively, my local Costco has converted film to DVD for me. You might consider that.
