RE: Onan 4000 MicroQuiet - Quasi No Start (new carb needed?)

I've tried to rebuild mine at several different times. Never did work. I think the solenoid in the float bowl is the culprit. Getting parts for these generators are getting impossible. I tried to buy a fuel pump to keep as a spare. It has been discontinued.

RE: valve stems for TPMS

What is your tow vehicle? There's a company that makes a pigtail that connects to your rear view mirror and provides power and ground for an accessory.

RE: valve stems for TPMS

Actually - followup...has anyone hardwired the unit to an ignition-switched fuse in the TV fusebox? Probably the only way to do it. You will need the repeater module, since the trailer wheels would be a long way from the TPMS module.

RE: valve stems for TPMS

The in tire sensors are the best. True tire temp readings and no valve stem issues.

RE: bubble on EPDM roof by the seam

Cut a slit in the bubble to make it lay flat. The apply a wide strip of Eternabond over the repair.

RE: Doghouse change in E450

RE: Wind noise E-450

Remember. You're pushing a sheet of plywood, vertically, down the road. No way around wind noise.

RE: Should I connect my sewer line when camping?

You can connect the hose. But, don't leave the drain valve open. There's not enough water flow, when flushing, to completely flush the effluent down the hose.

RE: Black Water Tank Issue

I would replace the drain valve. No telling what the drain cleaner did. The tank its self should be ok. Next time the tank won't drain. Connect the drain hose, lift the open end higher than the tank. Fill hose with water. Open the drain valve. The water in the hose will push the clog back. Close the drain valve. Carefully connect the hose to the sewer drain and empty.

RE: Ford v10 stalling in the first five minutes

I'm willing to bet it's the throttle body. Mine was doing the same thing. I was a Ford Technician for 25 years. I've replaced a ton of throttle bodies.
