RE: Replacing Decals

Spray soapy water on the RV panels, apply he decals. Then you would need a heat gun to soften up the decals, so they can make all the curves. Then squeegee smooth.

RE: Class C Aluminum Wheels

Also, the Alcoa wheel is hub centric now, correct ?
I would not want to install a set of lug centric wheels on an rv , as most aftermarket wheels are.
Yes. And, you use the OEM lug nuts.

RE: 2008 E450 turn signal relay

I recently put LED tail lights on my RV.
Had to put an LED compatible flasher relay in.
Mounted on the brake pedal bracket, by the fuse box.

RE: Class C Aluminum Wheels

Our rig has steel wheels with stainless steel wheel simulators. When replacing the tires this spring, I am considering buying Alcoa wheels with the Dura-Bright finish from THIS RETAILER. So I am interested in hearing about issues.
After getting fed up with wheel simulators, I put ALCOAs on my Class C.
The ride difference is outstanding. So much less unsprung weight for the suspension to deal with.
I also installed the TST TPMS in tire sensors.
The finish is really holding up.
I didn't go for the chrome look version, too flashy.

RE: 2021 Ford F53 Chassis v8 engine

From my reading the engine makes less HP but is more efficient. I haven't read any reviews yet that say it's worlds better. The V-10/6spd was amazing. The 7.3 has got big shoes to fill, and so far I'm not seeing it anywhere!

RE: I69 to 288 Houston

All the 288 construction is over. Traffic flows really well.
The only bottle neck is at the 69/ 288 exit. Usually a couple minute delay.

RE: Onan 4000 Intake Manifold replacement

Looks like the cylinder head has to come off with the manifold.
Any automotive machine shop can remove the broken stud.

RE: TPMS for the alcoa wheels

I went with the TST in tire TPMS sensors.
I have the ALCOA wheels also, along with 6 Michelin XPS Rib tires.
The ride quality is night and day difference.
The lower unsprung weight of the aluminum wheels really help.

RE: Changing Spare Tire

You can do it yourself.
You just need a bottle jack that would fit under the axles.
I have a 12 ton for mine.

RE: Extended Service Plan while under warranty

You would need to use an RV tech that is authorized by the extended warranty.
Or, get pre-approval for the repair.
In an emergency type repair, you will have to pay for it then fight to get reimbursed.

RE: Help! Onan 4K generator refuses to start and stay on

I gave up on cleaning the carbs. There are small passages that are capped off, which makes them hard to clean.
Treat your fuel with Startron before storing. Or, drain the carb.

RE: E450 Fuel Filler Hose Leak

This is very common.
My RV is doing the same thing. I just need to swap it out.
The ethanol fuel eats up the hose.

RE: Proper Hydraulic Fluid to use?

Yeah, don't use the stop leak fluid.
Try to find a repair shop that does automotive hydraulic lift repairs.
They can take you jack and find a seal that works.

Parts are getting hard to find for these generators.
Onan quit making fuel pumps for them.
Carbs are now $300.
