RE: Tripping solar panel breaker

I don't know why you have to fuse panels.
Apparently you don’t if wired in series. The amps are not high enough to damage the wires if there is a short circuit.
That’s what the windynation site that was shared explained.
I still did for mine, I did both the panel side and the battery side of the controler with manual tripable breakers so I can use them as a disconect if I have to do any work.

RE: wiring in inverter

I just converted my class C to 50 amp. I have a 3000 watt inverter and a 4000 watt gen running through the existing auto transfer box, the output of that box goes to a new 50 amp auto transfer box which switches from shore cord to Gen/Inverter, the output of that goes to the breaker panel. The only downside is the stacked switch over boxes cause a long delay when turning on the Gen or Inverter due to the stacked delays. The system works great. I also have a 12 volt circuit powered by the inverter which opens the feed to the Converter when on Inverter. Various other relays open the 12 volt circuit when on shore or gen power.

RE: 3d printed water fill adaptor

They arrived today...no discernible difference on fit. I tried on an older 5th wheel and a newer class c motorhome. They both worked flawlessly on both water fill fittings. Both screwed onto a brass hose fitting perfectly.
Thanks, they are going to work well!!!

We stayed at the Yacht Club once on our way to Prescott.
Makes the Bates Motel look like a four star resort!! :(

RE: Lithium cost keep dropping!

What is the USUABLE amp hours of a "100 amp hour" lithium battery?
Or is it hypothetical like solar panel wattage as measured on the planet Mercury?
Mex..
Solar panel wattage is measured at the equator on July 1 at noon on a clear day. :B

RE: 100 amp @ 12 volts charge controller.

I have been using an 80 amp unit for several years and it works just fine.
I have the remote and it serves to show the SOC of the batteries.

Hi Housted,
