RE: Tire covers?

Winter in the south, summer in the north. Tires always in the sun and heat. Never had tire covers, never needed them. My tires are always replaced after 7 years, never have had an issue. On our 3rd motorhome, Class A. Been RVing for close to 30 years.

RE: Question for TEXANS- Class A non CDL

Driving with out the correct license will void your insurance coverage. You could lose your truck and fifth wheel in an accident for failure to obey the law.

RE: Main slide issue on one side

Sounds like a low 12V voltage problem. How old are your batteries?
I’m plugged into 50 amp shore power at home.
Being plugged in to 50 amp shore power won't solve a low 12 volt issue caused by low batteries. If your slide is powered by 12 volt motors, they rely on extra amps provided by your house batteries. How old are your batteries?

RE: Fuel tank leaks when we fill it

If the fuel gauge is acting up in simultaneously with a drip/leak it's sounds to me to be more likely a fuel pump/gauge assembly problem. Dropping the tank is the likely next step.

RE: Canadians buying fuel

Enter the 3 numbers from your postal code followed by 2 zeros.
For example, if your postal code was M5K-1H8 you would enter 51800 as your zip.

RE: PEI

Twin Shores is one of the best, big rig friendly RV resorts on the Island. Full hook ups, 50 amp, long pull thru's available. Beautiful beach etc. Great par 3 executive golf course beside it (if that's your thing)

RE: Heat pump blowing cold air

Most RV heat pumps I've seen are only good to around 40 Deg F. Below that you need to run the furnace.
Yes, ours only works until just above 45 then it switches over to the propane furnace.

RE: House Batteries not being charged by engine.

Could be that the previous owner changed out the batteries and when reconnecting hooked up something incorrectly?
anyhow, go to the winnebago.com, click on Owners, under resources click on Guides and Diagrams, under Plumbing and Wiring Diagrams click on Wiring Diagrams, click on your year and make and double check your batteries connections against the manufacturers spec.

RE: Chew on this.

I wonder what fuel pricing will do to there numbers.I,m in canton ohio diesel $6.39 gas $4.89
I don't know where you are buying gas but the current price at the Pilot on I77 at Faircrest Street in Canton is $5.69 for diesel and $3.79 for gas. In case you are looking for a cheaper alternative.

RE: Toyo tires

Check the placard on the wall under the window next to the drivers side seat. It will detail recommended tire pressures for the front and rear axel's tires. Set your new tires at these until such time that you weigh your coach to determine the manufacturer's recommendations. I highly doubt it will be as high as 125 psi.

RE: Prince Edward Island

Twin Shores is a really good RV resort. Has large Pull Thru's with full hook ups, 50 amp, etc. If you are looking to book for the 2023 summer, they are taking reservations starting October 8th. They tend to fill up fast. Go to twinshores.com for details..
