RE: Hydraulics??

Sounds like a 12 V voltage low problem. Your batteries could be low. On our MH, when oprerating the slides and jacks, the engine must be running.

RE: Do you have a bed liner?

I would not go without a liner. I have had slide in and sprayed liners. Sprayed is better. X2

RE: Do you need a special license to drive an RV?

Some states require a special endorsement. Some require it if you are over xxxxx pounds... And the number of pounds varies from state to state. YOUR HOME STATE (That is the one that issues your license) makes the decidsions. EXAMPLE. at Less than 26,000 pounds from Michigan I need only an "Operators" (Standard Driver's license) IN Texas over 26000 pounds I'd need an endorsement. Under 26000 I do not know. Actually I do not know if it's 26000 pounds either. In Ontario, with a regular license, Class G, you are allowed to drive any car, van or small truck or combination of vehicle and towed vehicle up to 11,000 kilograms, 24,310 lbs., provided the vehicle towed is not over 4,600 kilograms. A pickup truck towing a house trailer exceeds 4,600 kilograms, but the total combined weight of the truck and trailer does not exceed 11,000 kilograms is deemed a Class G. If you drive a MH exceeding 11,000 kilograms, 24,310 lbs, or your registered gross weight or any combination including your trailer or toad is over 11,000 kgs provided the towed vehicle is not over 4,600 kilograms, you need a Class D license. License regulations and classes are similar in many other provinces and states.

RE: Postal code

Use the 3 digits of your postal code followed by two zeroes. Ignore the letters. This has worked for me. Brian Brian is correct! For instance if your postal code is M5H3T5, you would enter 53500 as your zip when requested.

RE: Has anyone stopped for the night at Avon CO

According to RVParky, although there are signs posted in the parking lot saying no overnight RV parking, if you ask the manager, they will let you park for one night. One night only.

RE: Blow out water lines question

Don't rely on just blowing out the lines. All the times I have winterized I blow the lines then put in anit freeze and there is a lot of clear water that comes out before the pink stuff does. Your trailer, your choice but be prepared to fix freeze damage. Good advice!!

RE: More campers than parks

We have never had an issue camping on weekends, even in the busiest states and tourist destinations. Reservations in advance work every time. We've already booked most of next July and August. If you're intent on winging it, you'll likely continue to be disappointed....

RE: Using water below freezing?

Wow Sudbury in December? I wouldn't advise it unless you have a MH and all your water lines and tanks are enclosed in a heated basement. Forecast right now for end of November is 15F or -9C. That'll definately freeze any exposed water lines....

RE: how do you keep sewer tank clear

We use the thetford tank treatment. Always have, always will. In our 25 years of TT and MH RVing have never had a tank "sludge" up or any valve problems. I prefer to follow what the manufacturers recommend rather than 3rd party home remedies.

RE: 2 Years with a Older Class A

Looks like you had a couple of repair and replace extensive years. I have found that since purchaseing our 2010 class A we have spent on average about $2,500 a year on maintenance and repair.

RE: Roku in motorhome

Another question. Any way to get network tv with roku? Yes. You can get OTA tv by attaching a digital antenna, switching source to arial, and reprogramming your tuner by scanning for channels.

RE: Roku in motorhome

Do you have Verizon? I am told I can use up to 15GB per device on 4G. Is that similar to yours? Thanks. No, not Verizon but on a similar plan We have streamed many a program using streaming apps from various networks. 15 GB will get you about 10 hours or so.
