RE: Sink and toilet cleaning products

To answer your question: "Do general household toilet and sink cleaning products like Scrubbing bubbles, etc., interfere with your holding tank chemicals in the black and grey tanks?", I would say no. My wife has done the same for over 20 years on all of our MH's and no issues so far.

RE: 2018 Chevy Tahoe

The Tahoe likely has electric power steering. The battery must be disconnected to avoid the Tahoe constantly trying to recenter the steering while towing. Doesn't matter if the key is off. This will definately kill the battery and it will reportedly cause the Tahoe to wobble back and forth quite violently. I have heard that once it starts it goes back and forth and doesn't stop until you do. Heard it is super dangerous. My Chevy has the same setup instruction. I in stalled a battery disconnect and ran a 2nd direct power line from the battery to power the brakebuddy.

RE: Alabama RV resorts

Pellican's Nest, Dauphin Island is open. Its a smaller park but has a lovely pool, full hook ups, and is right across from the beach.

RE: Sealants of choice

ProFlex RV sealent is very good. I use it on the roof seams and such. Has worked very well and seems to maintain the seal forever. you can even apply it in damp conditions. I always carry a tube just in case.

RE: Emergency Flashers 2003 Workhorse Chassis Allegro 35DA

Had the same issue on my 2010 Workhorse Chassis Winnebago Suncruiser 37F. Was the 4 way flasher switch on the steering column. Check out this issue on the iRV2 Forum, it appears to be common on the Workhorse Chassis.

RE: Leveling Blocks vs jack pads

We use PT 2 X 10 pads, cut 12 inches long. Went to Lowes, grabbed a PT 2X10, went to the back, had them cut it into 8, 12 inch pieces. Total cost was something like $9. Cutting was free.

RE: Shore Power Question -- (15A+30A=45A)

They are near worthless, as they will not work if the 15 amp outlet is GFI protected, which they all are required to be. This answer is correct. Newer codes require GFCI outlets. And this device will not work with a GFCI since the common neutral almost guarantees the currents thru the two separate hot outlets will not balance with the neutrals back thru the respective outlet neutrals. Might work in an older campground that has not been upgraded to GFCI. YUP! This is correct! The above 3 answers are correct. I have one and from experience I can tell you that it hasn't worked anywhere that I have tried it, in multiple campgrounds. In fact, if you want it, PM me and I will let you have it for a good price.
