RE: Need 1 more inch of clearance

Are you using book literature heights or actual measurements. There could be a difference

RE: Keystone Bullet Model 261RBS ??

We had a 2013 Keystone 246 RBS and liked it a lot . Our TV was a 2014 GMC 1500 6.2 and the 4300 lb. rear axle. We pulled it a lot in MI,OH,Kentucky,Tennessee Indiana. We liked the rear bath a lot alouth you could not access it at night with slide closed. Getting back to tow vehicle the truck pulled it easily and was within weights . The thing I did not like I could never drive with one hand and be comfortable the TV always wanted to wonder a little. Probably because of the P rated tires. Ultimately we traded for a 2500 Duramax and the difference is night and day. Then in 2018 we traded and got a Grand Design Imagine 2500 RL and absolutely love it .

RE: 5th wheel or bumper pull

Worse excuse ever IMHO! "First, we didn’t like the steps" Other reasons are understandable. Cummins 12V98 Along with full use of truck bed , lower overall height my barn has a 12 foot door. As for the steps to bed room and sometimes a small step 4 inch which the bed sits on. My wife one night in the dark and only half awake fell or tripped of the small ledge. That did it for us any more a flat floor plan from then on. No more fivers for us

RE: 1st time boondocking and could not get our AC to work

Are you running your generator in eco mode when trying to start the AC. My 2800/3100 champion would stall or overload most of the time if it was on Economy throttle. If I kick Eco. Off it will start my AC easily.
