RE: Looking for campsite in southwest usa

Pleasant Harbor Marina and RV Resort just north of Phoenix has what you are looking for but it is expensive and reservations may be hard to get. You don't want to stay in the overflow section, it is all sand and dust when the wind blows. Main sites are paved and separated by fence.

RE: Memphis

Last time we were in Memphis our reservations at Tom Sawyer were cancelled due to flooding and we were lucky enough to get a spot in Yogi Bear just over the border in Mississippi and it was nice but expensive. It is just about as close as Tom Sawyer but with lots more amenities.

RE: How is the snow bird traffic on I-95

Drove from NH to Florida the day after Thanksgiving, but we take the coast as soon as we cross the Delaware Memorial Bridge, Rt 13 to Virginia Beach and 17 south, when we joined 95 at Bottom of SC it was bumper to bumper to the Georgia border. North and South Carolina are still only two lanes so always like that form Thanksgiving till New Years. Take your time take the coast and enjoy the ride, an extra 150 miles won't matter and more to see than Highway and Truck Stops.

RE: King Jack Directional Antenna Protection

Everything on the RV was designed to be outside and unless you are parked under a tree or some structure that might fall on the roof, I would leave it as is.

RE: Stone Mountain park

Overall the park is very nice and as said the sites near the office are the best. Best is only because a lot of the site are far from level, so much so that there is a giant bin of leveling blocks up near the office to help if you don't have enough with you. I have stayed there twice and enjoyed it both times, other than the aggravation of paying a park entry fee even though you are staying in the campground.
