RE: Replacement magazine
I agree with drmopar... no technical section in the new RV Life magazine . ..I liked the technical section in the old Trailer Life. The new RV, Life is not worth buying . ..Jim2007
RE: Montana Fifth Wheel
The new RV. Magazine does not have a tech. Section . .. I really miss that section. The old trailer life did. I really miss the tech. Section . .Jim2007

RE: Renewal
Hi.. I have not had a plastic card for a number of years. I just keep the phone number in the truck. Then call for service. Just keep your dues paid up and they will respond to a call for help. Jim2007
RE: Parking RV at home
Hi.. Congrats on your new RV... if it is parked on the street check with the city about regulations on length of time it can be on 4th street. Our city regulations allow for 48 hours only then it must be moved. Jim2007.
RE: Roadside assistance

RE: 5th Wheel Crushes Truck Follow Up
Just got a new Curt hitch when got new truck. Did you check to see if green was showing? I always have done a pull test for 15 yea
rs. Hi Dickok, yes, the green is not showing and the jaws are not locked. I then pull ahead and they lock up and no further problems . I am just puzzled as why the jaws do not lock up when I back in. They had been locking up on back in for 3 and half years. Maybe a part is wore out. Jim2007.
RE: 5th Wheel Crushes Truck Follow Up
I have a curt hitch which I have used for 3 and half years. I back in and get out of the truck and visually inspect the jaws to in sure they have locked. Very easy to determine. Never failed until last summer. The hitch will still lock but I need to pull the truck forward then the jaws lock. I follow the curt hitch recommend maintance schedule. I would like comments from other curt hitch owners. Thanks Jim2007.
RE: my travel trailer will be stationary throughout the year?
Hi.. I have state farm insurance on the truck and the 5th wheel .. the insurance is active when the 5th wheel is in storage and on the road. I live in in NE Colorado in the hail belt ... so I need insurance year round. Jim2007.
