RE: Flooring Under Dinette (Pictures)

If the bench was cut at an angle to make the seat level I'd just put a spacer in the front and make the floor level with the floor on each side of the sloped area. Put a fake grill in it to make it look like a heater outlet.

RE: Help NEWBIE: Buying Class A Coach

Look for a well maintained used one. No use facing the problems of a new one not to mention the depreciation you get the minute you drive it off the lot.

RE: Turning A Toad

The only way you would really be able to bind the tow bars is to try backing up with them attached, especially if you tried to back up while you were turning. Also making a tight U turn. Other wise just tow it the same as towing a trailer.

RE: Towing Saturn Vue

Page 236 and up of the 2009 owners manual says the 4 wheel and all wheel drives can be flat towed BUT never over 65 mph.

RE: Towing Saturn Vue

If it lists in the owners manual under recreational towing you can. The trans is a Honda CRV type so follow the set for flat towing to the letter or you'll be replacing the trans.

RE: awning fabric - install upside down possible?

don't think you can do it if you have the metal cover type. If not the little flappy thing that blows in the wind on the outside of the unrolled awning will be on the inside rolled between the awning and roller but it should work inside out.

RE: A&E by Dometic window awning

Check with I think it's tough tops. They made the replacement material for my slide out awning and I'm satisfied with the material and workmanship. Just need to send them the measurements and web site tells you how to do that.

RE: No trailer brakes

If you can't feel anything take a compass and put it next to the wheel you want to test when the magnets on the brakes get power from the brake pedal the compass needle will move.

RE: Electrical - smoked up the cabin

Did you check for any burned wires on the truck the charge line from the alternator to the camper battery, etc. If the camper was on the truck when this happened those wires may have been involved also.

RE: ac leak

If you use it where you have high humidity run the fan on high to avoid freezing it up (the coils). If you drop the inside panel you should see 4 bolts 1 in each corner. these need to be snug Don't over tighten. The A/C sits on a foam gasket that you don't want to crush this is what keeps the water out from the roof. You should be able to see it when you drop the inside panel. These 4 bolts need to be snugged or checked every once in a while.

RE: Anyone use Quick connect for water hose?

From my experience if you get the brass ones you want the one 's with the rubber washer. The Harbor freight one's will start leaking over time if they are just brass to brass.

RE: Disappointing test drive

Not that it would make a difference but if you want to get the new V8 make sure your purchase is on the new V8 chassis, and not the older v-10.

RE: Water Heater Help

Is the Thermocouple in the flame has to stay hot for the gas to stay on. Is the connection tight at both ends of the Thermocouple. When it is working are you getting a blue flame with just a little or no yellow? Do you have an air compressor that you can use to blow everything out?

RE: Dometic DM2652 Refer Not Working

When you turned the gas back on did you open the valve slowly, some times if you open them to fast it thinks there is a leak and stops the flow of gas. Does the stove work? battery charged? needs 12 volt for the controls to work.
