RE: Crazy static pop while waxing/cleaning motorhome

See if it does it with the rig unplugged, if it doesn't and only does it with the rig plugged in you may have what's called hot skin on the RV. And it could be enough to kill you.

RE: Garmin 890 GPS unit ?

The 890 is great for programing as it's attached to the base by a magnet just pop it off, program it and it snaps back into place as it gets close to the base. Good for when driving and the copilot wants or needs to input a change.

RE: Replacing 1999 rear camera with newer tech and color

You can also check TadiBrothers for replacement systems. That's where I got my color back camera and color monitor they had plug in adaptors for the old wiring to new.

RE: New cooling unit or refurbish?

They are also making a 12 volt compressor unit for a replacement you may want to also look into that. I've replaced 3 cooling units myself. It nice if you have a friend that can help but one person can do it.

RE: Toilet broke loose!

I don' think you're supposed to use wax rings in RV's. RV toilets come with foam rings.

RE: Refrigerator replacement

Just watched a you tube video of an ever-chill 12volt compressor model that ran for 43 hours off 1 12volt battery. And that was starting from 61 degrees in freezer and refrigerator.

RE: Puzzled by Refrigerator Problem

The flame is about the size of a pilot light, you will never see a flame like you see in the Water heater, if that's what you are comparing it to. If you are seeing a flame in the firebox the refrigerator is working on propane, leave the flame on for 24 hrs and I'll bet your refrigerator is as cold as it would be on elec.

RE: My wife is gonna kill me, please help

Check to see if you have a gfi plug that may have tripped. Can you see where it plugs in if so just plug a 110 volt light into the socket to make sure you have power to the plug.

RE: I need help removing my broken water heater drain plug

As I recall talking with Attwood you want to ONLY use the nylon plug. It is also used as a safety device designed to blow out if pressure gets too high. I know that's what the pressure relief valve is for. Just say that's what I heard for an Atwood rep.

RE: Clicking sound when engine starting

Take a set of jumper cables hook the neg post on the battery to the frame to ground it and try starting it if the clicking go away you have a ground problem. Fought this problem on friends MH in St George Utah in July in 105 temps. Turned out to be a bad ground cable.

RE: 2022 Tiffin - F-53 Chassis - Brakes

Take it for a few drives and try to avoid any hard braking, just heat the rotors and let them cool to seat in the new pads.

RE: Trouble with leaking around toilet flange

On a friends MH his toilets pipe fit in the black tank with a ring gasket it was not glued into the black tank. The ring on his split and he had to install a new one. So if yours over flowed and didn't come into the bathroom area just over the black tank it may be the same.

RE: Water pump off/on switch inside RV

Their maybe more than one inside, there are two in my MH one in the bathroom and the other one on the panel that has the read outs for the tanks, (water, black tank and gray tank along with propane). I have also seen water pump switches by the kitchen sink. Hit a few switches and you should hear the pump running open the water at the sink when you have the shore water turned off or not connected and you will hear the pump or water start flowing as long as the fresh water tank has water in it.
