RE: What did you do to your Camper Today?

I have a long list of things to fix on our aging Lance. Seriously thinking its time to start over. 16 yrs, 45 states, 100k miles well over 600ights in it, it doesn't owe us anything. My Northstar Igloo is 15 years old, 42 States, 100K miles, 2 years of full time use and several hundred nights in addition. It is in like new condition with nothing needing to be fixed. I have even run out of ideas for mods. I've spent close to $5000 on my 25 year old Lance after purchasing it in July 2019. And it still needs a few minor repairs. :B My new to me 1995 Lance 945 11'3" TC that is a sweet camper. Thanks you inspired me to keep this one up. I just get tired of fixing stuff all the time. We live in a 125 year old Victorian house which always needs some work. Just gets old working on the camper too. For us the 1010 is the best desgin. But the wife is thinking new so we shall see. Getting older early 50s now, she wants a slide out etc. She mentioned a TT or 5th wheel but im no whwere ready for that style of camping. I love the TC camper so flexible and easy.

RE: Winterization of hot water heater?

any ideas how I can get the anode/drain plug out? I always took it out until last winter when I couldnt budge it, Its 16 yrs old and ive replaced the rod many times. I and hesitant to really crank on it fo fear of breaking something. Winter is coming up again and id liek to drain it this year if I Can.

RE: How many have had Thanksgiving in a truck camper?

WE have done thanksgiving on the beach many times. USually made the turkey at home then did all the sides on the beach. Was great fun. But the kids got older and busy so its hard to do it now.

Atwood camper jack

One of the electric jacks on my Lane 1010 has given up the ghost. In digging around I see Atwood doesnt make them anymore. Anyone know where I might be able to track one down? IF not what did you do to replace the dead jack. Ill talk to Lance next week and see what they say, they are always helpful but figured id ask here since ive gotten great info in the past.

Norcold fridge

Have a norcold fridge in my lance camper. For whatever reason it will not run on AC power. IT only will run on Propane. Light inside works fine. Stays cold on propane no issues. Any suggestions to get the AC power working again?
