RE: Are class A resorts just as filled up as other RV parks?

When we had TTs we camper in the same places that we do now with the MH. I haven't been to a place that only had one or the other. We still don't make reservations unless during a holiday.

RE: Kwikee Step Motor Replacement

We got a 2004 Winnebago when it was 10 years old. It came with all the maintenance and repair records and the step was never worked on. They didn't go all the way in, almost but not quite. A little bending where it was binding and a little lube and it seems OK so far.

RE: 2Toad rver.

We also have two toads, sometimes we want the pickup and sometimes a car. It all depends on where we are going.

RE: Electric/non electric scooter?

I have a honda scooter and I never take it when we go away. Many parks don't want gas motors. We do always take our bikes. Electric bike or electric scooter gets my vote.

RE: What is best AC unit for Tent Camping?

Our motor pool tent in fort benning had AC but it was almost as big as a VW and was on its own trailer. We had no AC in Nam.

RE: Driving a 33' Class A

It's hard to make things bigger on the inside without making them bigger on the outside. If you want more room, go for it. 8' longer and maybe 6" wider, you'll get used to it in no time.

RE: Robotic/Computer total knee replacement is a game changer

My mother had one hip done and the other one 5 or 6 years later, she said the operation and recovery was like night and day.

RE: Bathroom Dry Pipe

Every camper we ever had the water goes down when you flush the toilet. If you want more water you move the pedal, or lever, the other way.

RE: Did I ruin my water heater, please help!

There is a lot of stuff running your battery down even when everything is off. Rather plug in the camper to keep the battery charged or disconnect it to keep it from going dead.

RE: WHAT dinghy or toad is good to tow ???

With so many toads to choose from, the OP should get what he wants to drive around when he gets where he is going. Sometimes we take the ranger pickup, put the automatic transmission and transfer case in neutral, that's it. Sometimes we take the 2 door elantra, put the standard shift in neutral and turn the key one click to unlock the steering. No fuse to pull, no running the engine, no need to stop after X number of hrs. There are many cars that are easy to pull.

RE: Dish Network receiver question

I had a 211k in the MH when I switched the house chrome direct to dish. The installer said $7 more on the same acc. He got the set# and turned it on. I have a hard drive plugged into the 211k so it is a DVR.

RE: Poor workmanship -- Entry Level VS Higher Price ????

If people keep buying the cheapest RV they can find, that's what the manufacturer will make for them. You get what you pay for. If you get a cheap one don't complain later that it is made cheaply. What was that saying, "A poor man buys everything twice"
