RE: Wanna bring a golf cart and a Jeep towed

I tow a 4 door Dodge Dakota with a 5ft bed and a Cricket in it . The tailgate is down and the Cricket sits on 2x6's. The Dodge has air bags and rides level. Weight is 4780 lbs with full gas tank, just below my 5k hitch limit.

RE: Ford Questions

I don't know if you've been to Valdez AK but theres one big long hill to get down to the town. I put the Ford in Tow Haul at the top and never touched the brakes all the way down. T/H is amazing technology (to me) and I use it all the time (even in the east coast flatlands)

RE: Air Conditioner Performance

We put Reflexit on all exterior walls inside the cabinets and closets. It makes a big difference in the inside temps.

RE: Trip from West Coast around the US

In eastern VA, the tunnels make you turn the propane off, no other restrictions. In Baltimore you are not allowed in their tunnel with a propane tank installed. Williamsburg is a great place to visit, also the NC Outer Banks and the barrier islands all the way to FL. Don't forget Charleston Sc and Savannah GA. Plenty of good campgrounds on the whole east coast.

RE: Stone protection for tow vehicle

Get rid of the vanity flap, we have the "Hula" skirt, no chips in 30K miles.

RE: FlexSeal

While camping last month a small tree branch came down and punched a hole in my fiberglass roof.I didn't realise how thin that material is, probably less than 1/8" thick. Anyway I had a tube of Flexseal so I used it to fill the hole and make it waterproof. Now we're home and I have some Eternabond tape here so tomorrow it's back up on the roof and I'll tape over the Flexseal.

RE: Williamsburg/Langley

American Heritage is good, Newport News City park is good too. I have friends that have stayed at the new RV park at Ft Monroe, on the bay, and they like it.There is also Rockahock on the west side of Wburg but thats the opposite direction from Langley AFB.
