RE: tow vehicle

I think we will probably try towing the Ram , and if I think it is too heavy I can still use the same tow set up on a smaller vehicle only have to change the mounting plates < I think

tow vehicle

Looking for oppinions , We have a Jayco Precept 35s gas and so far are quite happy with it . We are wanting to set up a tow vehicle and our choices are to buy a trailer for our 2019 Subaru Outback as it needs to have all wheels off the ground , or flat tow our 2020 Ram 1500 which can be flat towed . Any of your opinions would be appreciated . Both setups are going to very close to the suggested 5000 lb . The trailer cost will probably be around $2500 more than flat tow bar set up . Thanks for the input in advance

transmission down shifting

We have a 2016 Jayco precept 35S , we are very happy with it so far , one issue I have is when traveling on smaller hilly roads I have to be cereful when braking on downhill grades as the transmission down shifts leaving me no control up shifting raising the RPMs and then having no control upshifting until it allows . Hope this makes sense. The coach is equiped with Ford V10 and Torqshift transmission . Would appreciate any thoughts

Jayco Precept 35s electricalissue

Recently purchased 2016 Jayco Precept 35s , we have it in a site where I work for a home away from home. was having an alarm of low voltage from 1st day I brought it home. cleaned it all up in driveway and when I went to start it after week the engine battery was dead , used boost and it started right up with coach batteries. Installed a new battery , ran fine . left in camp ground and same thing with new battery after a week of sitting ? Also inverter is showing E05 code ? everything electrical seems to be working fine? Any thoughts ?
