RE: Bearings and bad decisions......

exactly what I was thinking ^^^^ hub was so hot it popped the cap off. Also, lots of dust/sand getting in when driving like that.

RE: 5th wheel lifting bracket

RE: Rails vs pucks vs gooseneck mount

I sold my patriot that I had for my Ford and got the puck version for my RAM when I changed trucks. Stronger hitch and the pucks have no slop like you can have with rails. Can't go wrong either way. But, it's nice having a factory ready option including 7 way in the bed.

RE: Duramax Turbo

RE: 5,000 mile F150 Ecoboost 10speed pulling 8,000 review

that must be tough on the brakes, if the Ford system kept applying them in your situation?

RE: Ford 7.3L gas power numbers

I'm use to 900 Tq....don't know if I can go back to almost half of that :( Just drop down a gear or two...the rear axle will never know the difference. Unless you are pushing the very upper limits of the tow ratings and doing lots of mountain driving...the modern gas engines are overkill (diesel is just more overkill). Ughhh! It does’t work like that! ^^^ yep...I had a Ford 6.2 Gaser before this truck....I know the difference.

RE: A little more on the New ford trickeling out

Why remove the emissions equipment, don’t you like to obey laws and breath clean air? Because I want to, depends on the law, and yes which is why I don't live in a population dense area. Federal emission laws apply all over this country...correct?

RE: Can't Get Directv Signal Beeps

I have that issue also...H25 beeps once in a blue moon, H24 never beeps, H54 Genie beeps every time.

RE: Furrion rv air conditioner, anyone have one yet? Or Attwood?

intriguing...but I rather not be the first to have them....these new units need to prove them self in service...IMHO

RE: Electric brakes self adjusting?

RE: Why Diesel Engines Lose Power & Efficiency Over Time

Loss of power and efficiently ??? My '16 Freightliner w/ a Detroit 13L 410 HP w/ 410,000 still pulls like a train ok, then it's settled...close all the labs :B

RE: 2017+ Powerstroke 6.7 Fuel Filter

Here we go with pre-filling AGAIN. LOL....i can get my filter on through the hole with the cap tool 3/4 full and not spill any. By the way...that is the same amount that is left in it when I take it out. Also, did you boot connector get messed up from you not re-installing the air intake tube exactly in the proper position?

RE: 4WD or 2WD

just to stir the pot a little....I'm on my 4th truck and my first 4wd...the 4wd truck is the only one I have ever been stuck in the mud with :)

RE: Wheel diameter

I am always amused by these discussions , What difference can it make , it is just a tire on a truck . I'm always amazed by people who take time to post something like this ^^^ :)
