RE: Hitch Stablilzers

I use this one from Amazon. I have used it on my 3,000 lb boat and it is great. No movement at all. Used it for horse trailer, hay trailer and motorcycle trailer. All rock steady. Hitch tightener

RE: Coachman Chaparral

I had a Coachmen Chaparral for 13 years. Floors never were a problem. Had one piece of delamination on bedroom window.

RE: Streaming Amazon videos?

Clarification on how long you can keep downloaded videos from Prime. Per Amazon: You have 30 days to begin watching the video after you download it and once you start watching it, you'll typically have 48 hours to finish watching it.

RE: Streaming Amazon videos?

All of my newer Smart TV's already have the prime App then all you need is internet My way doesn’t need you to have internet at all. You download over WiFi at home and then just play from your app.

RE: Streaming Amazon videos?

When we go camping I download whatever we want to watch from Prime onto my iPhone. As mentioned before, you can keep a program at least 72 hours after you have started watching it, but you can keep them longer if you haven't watched them yet. I bought an adapter for the iPhone that has an HDMI cable socket. iPhone adapter. There are cheaper ones on Amazon but a lot of reviews say they don't work. This one is from Apple and works fine for me. You start watching the downloaded/saved program on the phone and it can be watched on the TV once the HDMI is selected. I found that if you try to start watching with the cable already connected it gives an error message, but if you start it on the phone and then plug in the cable it works great!

Mark Twain Natl. Forest, MO

Looking to head to this area for a meetup with some friends in June next year. Any recommendations for good camping spots in this area? We will be 3 5ers all about 35ft. Looking for full hookups and things to do. Any thoughts would be much appreciated!

RE: Books for first time RV owners?

Last week while camping a new TT pulled in alongside us in the evening. They unhitched the trailer, leveled front to back with the front jack, then put out the awning and turned on all the led lights, then got in and went to bed. No chocks, no stabilizers. Fortunately the site was only a small gradient. Was going to talk to them but we had to pull out early in the morning before they got up. They sure need some instructional info!

RE: any Cougar 2020 315 RLS owners out there

Hi...I have a quick question. I would like to know which brand of TV came with your unit. I believe my dealer pulled a switch on me. All the reviews I seen on video's about the RV's have 4K tv's and mine is a cheap non 4K westinghouse brand. Any help would be appreciated We just bought a new Cougar 27SGS. It has an LG 4G in it. I was surprised at this and asked the sales folks if this was standard. He said that it was normally a Furrion brand, but they had to use the one from this trailer in another which they had just sold and which was not working - the Furrion manual was still in the packet. They went to Best Buy and bought the LG for my trailer. Sure glad they did, because I would have switched it out for an LG anyway! So, yes, dealers pull switches on these thing.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Good morning FOOFs We are camping in Navarre Beach Florida in the Santa Rosa RV resort. This place is a little pricey but it is very nice. We have a spot on the water. This is our first week off since last October when we traveled to Sevierville. I am hoping that work leaves me alone this week. We are planning a trip to Destin today to do some touristy things and eat lunch. There is an Irish pub that we are going to. On Mondays they have a Sheppards pie special so I'm going to try that. Not sure what else we will do this week. We will be heading back home on Friday. I wish this wasn't so far from our home as we really like this area and would come up here more often but it's 500 miles from us. With only having 3 weeks of vacation time, it really limits how far we can travel from home. I hope everyone is doing well. Burch Glad you like our area! The Irish pub in Destin is fun. The whole of the ceiling and walls are covered in dollar bills. :) WE usually keep clear of that area as they have been working on US98 forever. I call it the world's longest construction project! Next weekend we are heading north from here to Three Rivers State Park for a few days in the new 5er, to get all the 'kinks' worked out :)

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

am fighting Parkinson. Monday the doctor said I have Parkinson and he started me on medication. Oh well we will see how it goes. So sorry to hear this Richard. Let's hope the medication can help with this. Keep your chin up. :)

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Too bad there wasn't one closer to me in Utah, would have enjoyed meeting everyone. Guess there's not that many on here out West. Well we did have one out west some years ago, in Colorado. That was the only one we could get to as we were both still working. Now we're retired, and in Florida with a new 5er, we could be game for another!

=Martyn Burch - where in the panhandle are you headed? We are going to Navarre Beach. We are staying at Santa Rosa RV resort. It's a little pricey but we have a place on the water. We really like that area and it's been a couple of years since we've been up there. Burch Definitely pricey but worth it if you have a lot on the water. It's a beautiful beach, only about 20 miles from Panama City Beach. Have fun!

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Good Morning FOOFs It's been awful quiet here lately. I hope everyone is doing well. Everything is the same here. Monty and I am both getting fatter so we need to go on diets. The other two fur kids are doing well. We are planning a trip to the panhandle next month. It will be my first week off since we went to Sevierville last year to meet many of you. I am looking forward to getting away from work for a week. Burch Sure has been quiet here - hope all are OK. We just dodged Hurricane Sally, but still had 18" of rain and 50mph winds for 3 days. Pretty much passed now. Last year I posted that we were giving up RVing and we fretted about what to do with our 13 year old, and feeling her age, 5er. Well, things can change! We pulled her out of storage, cleaned he up, and traded her for a new Cougar 27SGS. She's sitting in the driveway now and, after all that rain. she doesn't leak. We will be doing some short trips to get her and us ready then plan on doing some exploring of the SE USA. Burch - where in the panhandle are you headed?

It could also be because there is more tread on the new ones! :)

Went well thanks! Very sore mouth still, but I can deal with that. :) Nothing from Richard still - hope all is OK.
