RE: Radiator Question for 98 Holiday Rambler Endeavor

If you got all the bolts and line removed then just rock and push and get it out. You stated it had to be replace. I have never had one just fall out. All the junk that setters at the bottom really holds on.

RE: Outside Shower

just use the type they use on your sink at home if you have one. This is what I used when they start leaking. Also the one for the shower works also.

RE: Air bags on a Class A gasser

Put them on my 99 Ford F53 38 foot rear first and a total dream to drive. Put them on the front the next year. No blow around when you meet a big rig. As stated by rgatijnet1 complete control on how it control. Raise or lower side to side due to side winds.
You will get a lot of answers , a lot from people who have not done it also. For my Ford it total worked.

RE: Super steer radius rod

I have looked at them and like your shop, I feel the same. The only way I see they might help is to have all four of your Leaf Spring Shackle Bushing worn out. They can be replaced for around $10 each. A far cry from the $500 for the rod. I could have misread what they do. I have replace my bushing some years back and did notice maybe a slight improvement. I just install some front and rear airbags and adjust the front end and air pressure and it did the trick for me on a 99 F53. Tracks and very little wind tail movement. Good luck

RE: Brake Fluid Still Milky

If you have vacuum pump system, you can rig up a freon can and pull a vacuum on it and use that to suck out the fluid from the right rear and suck it clear and move to each one. As someone stated you could have a pin hole in one of those flex hoses also. But that should show up on the rear and not the fronts.

RE: Electrical fire

I though the 440 only came with the 727 transmission and that reverse switch is mounted right near or on the shifter pod on the transmission, driver side just above the pan. Three pins the best I recall. Send me a picture to my email. [email protected]

RE: Electrical fire

https://www.classicindustries.com/shop/1979/dodge/d300/parts/electrical-wiring/
https://www.summitracing.com/search/part-type/wiring-harnesses/make/dodge
just google "1979 dodge d300 engine wire harness"
This happen to our first RV. It was in warranty thank goodness. Ours happen going down the hi-way. You find pages of them. Even dodge dealer might have them also. A lot of on-line auto parts also, but they will show up on the google search.
Good luck

RE: Not getting 115v

Also you can take wire chaser or toner and connect to each bad wire and trace it to the location its attached to and run from that point back to a the panel. That way you do not have to open too much, just run new wire if possible thru the basement or conduit under the couch.

RE: Not getting 115v

do you have a transfer switch. If so give it a rap with power on and see if it works. You should hear s hum if its working.
You state no voltage anywhere. Does that mean no light as in 12 volts either. Do you have a switch at the door that turns off all power to the RV. Sometimes call a Salesman switch.

RE: 1995 Fleetwood Flair 22ft

Look at the year of the vehicle the vin for sure and figure out when the box was put on it. It will be either a Chevy or Ford. So that the year and say Ford which will be a F53 chassis to the place you deal with and if possible take the item and you can usually get it right.
Brakes yes they should be check. Ours last gas was a 99 38 foot , just over 24000 loaded. You touch the brakes you felt it. Brake pads and rotors are not that hard to find. They glazed over just like a car. You also need to get into doing a full brake fluid bleed. Suck out the master brake fluid and fill in with new and then each bleed each wheel till you get clean and new fluid at that point. Ours was done every two years with a high end fluid. Made a lot of different. Also check your rubber hose on the brakes. If they have not been replace it way past time. The can and do separate inside and can cause issues. Auto transmission fluid need to replace every few years also if driving in the Mountains or hills. Again ours was either 2/3 years due to where we live. Not sure how much you weigh in at but that something you need to know. Yell when you need something. Someone is always here. Welcome to the Forum.

RE: Torque on Lug Nuts

I have had my Tradewinds since 2004 and have had two prior sets of Michelins installed and traveled over 70,000 miles and never had to retorque my lug nuts. Last Nov I couldn't find any Michelins in my area and had Continentals installed by a local Tire outfit. Now after just under 2000 miles it appears that the lug nuts on one of my duels is loose. Never had this happen on any of my RV's in over 40 years.
Might have way over torque them to start with.
As stated, before every trip and weekly. Found one every so often that has loosen. Just purchase a new vehicle and had to stop on the hi-way with the sale man riding along and tighten almost all the nut. Service was not happen neither was sales or the owner of dealer ship.

RE: Flooring Under Dinette (Pictures)

Your link are not working and require a account and password.
Are you seeing the sub frame or frame area with the metal. It was put there by whom made the RV to strength the chassis for flex or as a attachment point for the Box. Not a lot you can do about it.
