RE: Blinds: corded vs cordless?

We've had both kind, but like the corded the best. Bought the with to fit then I cut the length to fit instead of having the extra weight hanging at the bottom. We find its better to raise then all the way up to travel. What do you find better about leaving them up? I was concerned about the cordless ones rolling up while travelling and figured I could secure them with velcro on the bottom edge. The corded ones should not move no matter what position they are left in, correct? Thx.

RE: Broken rear window

Yeah, I bet a nice heavy coat of silicone or tri-lube spray will help that slide back into place easier. Use glass cleaner. The glass will already be mounted in the full aluminum frame when I get it back from the glass shop. It is just a matter of forcing (very carefully) the extruded aluminum frame back into the rubber molding at the top edge. That wide horizontal band across the top of the window in the picture is a stiff rubber molding that the extrusion fits into, and the brackets that the frame gets screwed to interfere with just pushing it straight up into place easily. I will let you all know how it goes when I get the window back. Thanks.

RE: Broken rear window

And these Forums are a wonderful thing also! I wish I had known about the tape trick when I busted the window in my truck.:S
