RE: Coachman Pursuit Slideout Type

HWH makes such a system. Accuslide also has such a system. Doug PS. Looked at about 10 2016 31BD and none had a Chain type system on the Drivers side large slide. NONE like the 2 systems I postedAny idea what type slideout mechanism that model would use then? Thanks.

RE: More campers than parks

this thread makes me very scared of what is ahead for my husband and I. we are putting our home up for sale in the spring and plan to buy a DP and live full time for 6 months or longer before relocating from MI to TN. Since we will not be able to start this adventure before we sell our house we have no idea on when it will start so trying to book far in advance is going to be a big problem. Our hope is to be on the road by August and spend time first in CO then move on to UT. I hope we are not homeless with a MH and no where to park itWhy are you leaving MI?

RE: Last Post, DW has died

My wife died 3 weeks ago. We have been RV'ing for about 25 years. She was in bad shape from MS but the RV was the only way I could get her out and about. She absolutely enjoyed that I could take her away from the house and do things with her. I miss her very much. I'm still coming to the RV forums because I'm not sure if I will keep RVing or not. Tough decision but once you have traveled in a class A, it's hard to go back to traveling like everyone else. We sold our RV before she died because it was a handicap rigged unit and I knew she couldn't use it anymore. I may take the proceeds and buy another smaller unit.

RE: Novice looking for an upgrade to Class C

I see many of the comments go toward Chevy vs Ford on the C. Is there any real good reason other than the Ford vs Chevy?

RE: F53 rear diff service

most diffs dont have a drain hole, the fill on most is on the back of the diff cover, some are also on the side of the diff case.. Correct. The rear cover will need to be removed to drain the fluid. You would need some RTV silicone to reseal the cover.Gee, my 2006 has a drain plug, perhaps they got cheap with the 2012 or maybe some folks don't know what they are talking about.
