RE: Wall Coverings

If it matters to you ,
if you don't want to be possibly be denied a warranty claim, I would wait till the warranty is over before you start making alterations to anything . Give yourself some time to make sure this particular rv is a sound build.
Not trying to be a smart butt, but do you really think the dealer you'd just bought a coach from or an RV manufacturer for that matter would deny a warranty claim on any part of a rig because someone decided to paint or apply wallpaper over the factory stuff?

RE: Power boost for Ford 450 V10

Run it stock or buy a different rig with a more powerful engine.
You will get there just fine in a stock V-10. Start f’ing around with things in the engine / transmission departments & the risk/reward & cost /benefit is nowhere near where it makes sense (in my book).
I tow a car behind ours all over the mountainous west & don’t feel there’s anything lacking or wrong. I try not to run it 4K rpm for long periods but it will do it. I find that keeping it in the 3k-ish range is more than adequate speed wise, while being pretty easy on the girl.
Don’t try & fix something that isn’t broke.

How Often Do you Get Skunked on FCFS Camp Spots?

Hate the fact there are so many First-Come/First-Serve camping spots at the National Parks & Forest Service campgrounds. I really prefer camping in National Parks & Forest Service campgrounds (especially if wanting forest/mountain camping) but the lack of reserveable spots is a major impediment to doing so for us. We to go RVing for relaxation purposes, therefore heading out for a weekend trip without having reservations in hand is anti-relaxing / stressful.
Seeing a lot of YouTube reviewers saying they rarely get skunked when it comes to being able to find a FCFS site in any given campground. That seems a little rosy-er than what I would think would be the case.
What's you guys' experience with this stuff nowadays?

RE: Chalky Front Cap

This stuff in the much smaller bottle will hook you up for ridding the chalk. You don’t even need a buffer but you can use one if you want. I’ve used it both ways.
Also 3m makes some stuff in both blue & green labels that’s fantastic as well.
Note: Use a good quality ‘sealant’ after any of the above products or else you’ll be doing it again in short order (especially if it’s hot weather time).
I like to use Turtle Wax Liquid Ice as a sealant. Been using it for years on my gelcoat boats, trailers, & motor home.

RE: Camping with my dog

Despite the rules, I don't think I've been to a camp ground yet where I have not seen unattended dogs left chained or crated at campsites. Including myself. As a solo traveler, my dog is unattended when I leave to use the public shower, that's how it is and I'm not leaving my dog home at a kennel so I can take a shower without annoying some busy-body.
MYOB folks, get over yourselves and enjoy your camping time instead of worrying about ruining someone elses Dog annoys you? Your idling diesel annoys me no way you need 30+ minutes to warm up or cool down, get that engine serviced if it takes that long. Maybe it's screaming kids, alcohol fueled all-night "good times" around the fire at maximum volume, or or or...
This! If there's anything worse than someone breaking a rule (especially if in this case the pet(s) are not causing a noise problem) it's a Karen.
