RE: SC power supply charging?

Like was said, connect the power supply/charger directly to the battery. When unplugged the camper will be running off the battery, when plugged in the camper will be running off the power supply. No need to separate the power supply from the battery

RE: Red wire, black wire and white wires

I believe there is a sorta standard. For 40 yrs, every 12v assesory you will ever buy has either black and white, or red and black for power. The red and black is always pos. I call that a sorta std. If you would install a black/white cable using the white as pos it would be wrong. Same w/ a red/black cable, a black pos would be wrong !

RE: House/Chassis Battery Charging Issue

I never did see the advantage of a trickle charge. Simply connect the individual positives together thru a spst switch on the dash. Mark the switch "run" and "park", fool proof and trouble free, been working for 20 yrs !

Was it still functioning? If so, there is probably someone here who wants it. Try reading the OP B4 replying !

RE: Continuous generator usage. How long?

Just keep clean oil and fuel in it and let it run. Generator is just a machine... it does not get tired, need breaks, or a nap. I agree. It was designed to run and if properly maintained and serviced is will run until it wears out. These are the only posts that know what their talking about. And to ad to that, it will wear out after many more hours running continuously, than being shut down every day.` Having said that, running a genset continuously for the OP's use, is about as ridiculous as as one can get.

RE: Sagging springs on 2 yr old TT ??

I'd say if it is not causing a problem, you don't have a problem, and I'd bet warranty will say the same thing. And you dint have a problem till someone told you that you did,.....someone who stands to profit from a problem that you didn't have

RE: Atwood hot water heater -- Too darn hot

It is very inefficient to spend money heating water way too hot, then using cold water to cool it off, really,.....just plain stupidity IMO
