RE: Sagging springs on 2 yr old TT ??

I'd say if it is not causing a problem, you don't have a problem, and I'd bet warranty will say the same thing. And you dint have a problem till someone told you that you did,.....someone who stands to profit from a problem that you didn't have

RE: Atwood hot water heater -- Too darn hot

It is very inefficient to spend money heating water way too hot, then using cold water to cool it off, really,.....just plain stupidity IMO

RE: Atwood hot water heater -- Too darn hot

there is a 120 deg stat available for the attwood I changed it in every attwood I've had. My now suburban WH seems to be ok w/ std stat.

RE: Water Pump Being Weird. Is it dead?

Try adjusting the pressure points. All 4008 series pumps are adjustable (allen screw near the pressure switch)

RE: What solar panels, and what charge controller do I need?

1st of all, do you know the difference tween gell and AGM ? 1st thing to do is make sure you are dealing w/ gell and not AGM

RE: The newer wingman upgrade info

The ad that I got said "upgrade" which I thought meant to upgrade from the old style to the newer style. But now I believe they just changed the appearance and design a bit. It is definently different than the last 2 that I had from some years ago. But it is probably just a later model and the only model made now. It is the only one you will find on ebay. And therefore may just be cosmedic from the old style to the new. I think Bill thought that Richard's post was saying the the wingman in itself was cosmedic, just a misunderstanding I believe.

The newer wingman upgrade info

I have been seeing the newer winegard wingman advertised for anywhere between $30 and $60, and am curious if it is worth the upgrade over the old wingman ? Anyone experienced w/ the new wingman ?

RE: 12v battery tender to equalize 6v

A 12v battery tender won't do anything on 1 6v battery. I have 2 of them.

RE: Battery: AGM vs. Flooded Cell

I can'tbelieve anyone would spend a dime more for AGMs. If you use a PD charger there is almost zero maintence on LA 6'ers. A touch of water, and clean the terminals every 2 years, That's it.

RE: Bearings

Yeah, I thought this was aout bearings. Believe what you want to, but fact is most any bearing is lifetime, if its kept clean and greased. And if its not, even the hi $ bearings will soon be junk.
