RE: Requesting solution from knowledgeable RV.NET collective

Again, thanks for all replies. Group 29DC at Walmart for $100.00 each with 2 YEAR FREE REPLACEMENT and a pair in parallel will fit. p.s. -- not too concerned about being WET since if I roll the MH pretty sure other issue will arise.

RE: Requesting solution from knowledgeable RV.NET collective

Thanks all. Need to replace 2yo T-105s due to my neglect and wondering if 2-12V 24DC in parallel are a wiser less expensive choice since not using MH dry- camping? https://www.walmart.com/ip/EverStart-Lead-Acid-Marine-RV-Battery-Group-24DC/180350522 TIA for expert opinions as always If as you say you are not using the MH for dry camping. And if we can assume you are always going to be plugged in to shore power. Then buy the cheapest battery you can. The two 12 volt batteries will work fine for you. Your current T-105's are wired in series to give you 12 volts. If you replace with 12 volt batteries then make sure they are wired in parallel so you still only have 12 volts. Yup, the T's are in series as we all know so the 12's have to be parallel and just figure that in the 10 years we have had the MH we have never Dry Camped and due to my prostate cancer are using it even less.

RE: Refrigerator Fan

Years ago I had a small refrigerator fan that ran off of 2 D cell batteries. I really could not see that it did much and was not worth the cost of frequently replacing the batteries. I bought one at a much lower price. It appeared to work, but I am going to wire in a computer fan to the light switch as suggested above. Just got in via Amazon 2 computer fans, taped them together, ran 12V from a 12V socket and they did a great job keeping temps down compared to before.

RE: $100 per night

I enjoy Fort Wilderness, I pay a more than $100.00 to stay there, Yes it is on the expensive side, but at the end of the day I feel I get my monies worth. THe idea that there is a $100.00 limit or barrier for CG rates is out of touch with real world CG rates in tourist areas. Made 4 reservations yesterday for FW, $120.00 to $189.00/night. BOSS Lady gave me the dates and said make the call. She wants to go, I drive the MH, she pays the bills.

RE: Memorial Day bike race

Did some house cleaning last week and found an old-OLD picture of me partaking in Jockey Hollow many years ago. Fast riding days are LONG GONE but rode 130 mile local ride last Tuesday, then a 151 mile ride last Friday night/Saturday morning and 101 miles yesterday. With minimal elevation change here in SW FL have to use riding into the wind as my climbing.
