FRIENDS ARE LOOKING AT AN IBEX AND I DO BELIEVE IT IS THE 23 RLDS. Anyone have one and how do you like it, what defects did it come with if any and how well did the dealer fix the defect. How is the construction and how well do you think it will stand up to travel. What are your thoughts about the construction materials and the build quality? I know there are some build problems and quality problems with the 19 QBS, little doors falling off and wall underslide out falling off etc. BUT how about this larger unit? How about is Forrest River standing behind this IBEX or is the same old story as most? Thanks.

RE: Roadside Assistance

COACH-NET was 269 dollars for first year and then drops to $169 afterward. Family Motorcoach now called Family RV I think was $159 for the same thing so went with that, I do have Progressive roadside coverage but did not trust it will cover what these others cover and it only costs about $18. I will report if I have to use it and how they did. THANKS so much, looks like you all like CoachNet and I used to when I used them but they have really gone up in price. Last year I went without anything except the Progressive without realizing it. I thought I had committed to CoachNet but had not, YIKES. THANKS again for all your opinions, appreciate it.

RE: Roadside Assistance

THANKS I am surprised no one yet has mentioned the roadside assistance from Family Motorcoach that now is Family RVing. I have used Coach-Net before and found them good but they all have gone up in price. USED Good Sam and was not satisfied with them as I mentioned. GOT to call tomorrow.

RE: stay pluged in or not

I was instructed, if not using, plug in a few days of a week a month or you will boil your batteries, if using of course keep plugged in.

Roadside Assistance

WHO HAVE YOU USED AND BEEN VERY SATISFIED WITH HAVING A CLASS A and needing a tow or need a tire due to a flat and we do not carry a spare. Esp with maybe locked up rear wheel since usually they would tow by lifting front end and tow with rear wheels on the ground. So looking for the best at difficult situations. AND I am looking for best at best dispatching since I once had a situation with the Class A, told dispatch, exactly what the problem was and that it was a Class A motorhome 36ft long and she sent a pickup truck. SO want a good Roadside Assistance company to go with and what it cost you for a year of service. Thanks.

RE: I need a FAST route MA to Atlanta GA

THANKS all, get out to 81 and down to 77 to I 85 to Atlanta sounds the best of us. Airplane was VERY expensive and it wanted us to leave at 6am and fly to FL and switch planes and get to Atlanta at 11PM so NO thanks. AND it costs about %500 a person to do that. THANKS again. This is a fast trip down 2 days, stay 2 days and come home in 2 days. All for a grandson who stumbled and such but is now graduating high school and want to show him all our support. Family is everything.

I need a FAST route MA to Atlanta GA

I have suddenly found i need to go to Atlanta GA from West of Boston so I can get on 95 South or the Mass Pike Rt 90 but would like to get there as fast as possible and would like to avoid NYC if possible on 95 due to the traffic jams leading into NY from CT and then over the GW Bridge. IS it still so trafficked now that Covid hit or is that over now for traffic? NEED it to be the fast route, MUST do it by leaving Tuesday and be there Wednesday night. SO any help will be very appreciated. THANKS in advance.

RE: Mass Pike Boston to Venice FL

2Retired that is too much switching back and forth etc. WE avoid 95 like the plague, so we go out 84 to 81 via 78. WAS just wondering if people use 66 or 77 and most use 77. I was told once that 66 MUCH better but from this string of replies sounds like 6 of one and half dozen of another and we are doing it in a car this time. USUALLY we go in MH or Fiver but this time in car.

RE: Mass Pike Boston to Venice FL

I guess it is 81 to 77 and 95 I like to avoid fog and traffic and that is why I do not go straight down 95, NY, Baltimore and DC traffic is HORRIBLE or at least was but with pandemic may not be so bad? Anyway, if anyone hears of bad roads etc please let me know. I am too **** old to sit in traffic for hours which has happened to us. IF we were traveling alone, we would just get up and get through NY by about 7 so would miss high traffic and also miss rush hour in Baltimore and probably in DC and someone once told me you take a road around Baltimore like 295? on the EAST side? And for DC there is 495m0or 695 something like that and do the Northside of the road, I think. BUT we are not alone so we are going out to 81 via 78 because the 84 all the way out to 81 is one LONG road so changing roads is good and then we end up on 81 lower anyway, near Hershey get on 81. 77 sounds like consensus.

RE: Mass Pike Boston to Venice FL

BUKHRN I was thinking 84 and going around Hartford on Charter Oak Br to 91 to 684 to 84 to I think it is 287 to 78 and out to 81. I was definitely thinking we took 66 across to 95 but people are talking about 77 but looks further. NOT SURE of course given I do not have knowledge of doing it that way and it may be a better way.

RE: Mass Pike Boston to Venice FL

Anyone go 81 to 66 to 234 to 95 down to FL and then a route down to Venice? 77 is pretty far down 81 before crossing over to 95 and it looks like more miles than 66?

Mass Pike Boston to Venice FL

Need good routing for car trip actually to Venice FL. We have done 95 and it is deadly traffic getting into NY, then Baltimore was killer traffic and Wash DC was horrible traffic so thinking we will go 84 to 78 to 81 and then need routing. Go 64 or 77 over to 95? How about going thru or around Richmond? etc. WE have done SC a few times but never straight to FL.
