Carribean side trip?

Any suggestions for a good cruise or all inclusive for a week somewhere in the Carribean, probably leaving from Fort Lauderdale. We are thinking Feb? We have never been on a cruise or to an all inclusive & hav e never been to the Carribean. Favorite islands or areas? Which places rise to the top? Thanks!

RE: Tips for removing a ceiling stain?

Inside ceiling white panel. We took down our old sat dish & replaced it with a ceiling light. Unfortunately, there is a modest yellowing where the sat dish was. We want to lighten it, it not ruin the panel. Thanks! Interesting suggestions re carpet. Aerospace 303? Do either discolor beige carpet?

Florence to Eugene or Reedsport to I 5?

Which is the better choice with the weather? We are familiar with the Florence to Eugene route, but have never used the road from Reedsport to I 5. We came up the coast to avoid snow. Thanks!

RE: convection microwave

We have a Whirlpool. The only time I tried to bake cookies, the pan slid off the turntable. Do you turn off the turntable? What baking pan are you using? Our oven has a raised round rack e are supposed to use for 1 level cooking ( not the nice one that is stable like a regular oven has... I want to figure out how to make this thing work. Help! Also, most of my recipes are for 9.x 13, too big for the oven.

RE: Thinking the Maritimes. Have???

We are short on time, so we need to hit what we can in a few days. We have narrowed our itinerary in Nova Scotia to primarily the area around Halifax. We are also thinking about Sherbrooke Village, Fort Anne & Port - Royal. For PEI, we are looking at Charlottetown & Cavendish mostly (LM Montgomery places). For New Brunswick, we are thinking the Roosevelt Campobello International Park & St Andrews nearby. From there, we would visit St John & Fundy Natl Park. Too bad our time is tight! Thanks...

Thinking the Maritimes. Have???

We are thinking about taking a trip to PEI, NB & NS & are looking for a place to leave our RV with electricity. We are thinking motel to save time. Any suggestions for places to safely leave the RV? I found one place earlier by Campobello, but lost it. What would you see, what would you skip & where would you stay? We have never been to this area. Thanks!

Bakersfield to Albany Oregon?

With all of the snow, flooding & landslides, we are trying to decide if Hwy 20 to 101 & North is better or worse than I 5 through Yreka. We need to be in Albany on the 20th. We are pulling a 33’ fifth wheel & haven’t done snow...yet. What shape are 20 & 101 in after all this weather & the fires? Where do you stay this time of year taking the 20 route? We need electricity. Thanks in advance for your help!

San Antonio

How long would you plan on visiting here? What are your top picks? We are considering commuting from Johnson City instead of relocating. What do you think? Thanks!

RE: RV parks in Arizona

Fortuna De Oro has lots of activities. Camp Verde may not be as warm as you might wish... Yuma is great then!

FMCA health insurance vs AARP?

Has anyone compared these two? Anyone on Humana? The deadline approaches... Thanks!

AARP health insurance

We are considering changing our health insurance from Regence Med Advantage to United through AARP. We are FT & spend time in AZ not covered for anything routine on Regence. They are great when there is an accident or medical emergency. They have specialists on the plan. Since United only pays for Dr care that accepts Medicare, we are wondering what experience you have had finding Drs that will take Medicare as you travel. Thanks!

Amazon fire stick?

How does this work? What will it do? Trying to figure out if it can be used somehow without much internet available for downloading movies. Streaming uses too much data and is not allowed. Can anyone explain how this works? Thanks!

RE: Adult ONLY RV parks. ?

There really isn’t much in the PNW for 55+ RV parks. There are a few in California, mostly in the desert ((still hot). There are lots of wonderful places to see, just don’t count on 55+. When kids are on vacation, campgrounds fill with families!
