Suburban water heater only warm?

Our Suburban 10 gallon SWE is only getting lukewarm. Both propane and electric seem to be working. Neither pressure relief valve on the outside of the RV seemed to push in to reset. Are we correct in thinking it is the thermostat? If so, is DIY resonable, or do we hire it done? Thanks!

Philly visit?

Planning a big trip... Does it take more than 1day for the Independence Hall National Historic Park? What if you include the Visitor center, Museum of the American Revolution & Constitution Center? Would a second day do it? Is it worth adding a day? Trying to figure out how many days we need to commute in since we are planning on staying at the KOA in Clarksboro (the former Timberlane). Thanks!

RE: Help planning a Washington State/Oregon trip

As a native Oregonian & someone who retired out of WA after living there for 30 years, I have a different opinion: I would skip My Rainier. You see more from the highway than the Visitor Center. I would visit Mt St Helen’s instead . Definitely spend time on the Olympic Peninsula & visit Olympic National Park. Be sure to include the Hoh rain forest & add a trip to La Push if you can. Then proceed down the coast to Astoria for the Maritime Museum & the Astor column. Visit Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach, visit Lincoln City for an additional beach, & return to the Willamette Valley. Then see Crater Lake if you like. I would suggest flying in & out of Portland if you want to visit Mt St Helens & Crater Lake. IMHO, Mt St Helens, the Hoh & La push give you the best quick overview of WA. Astoria & Cannon Beach give you some idea of the Oregon coast. If time were tight, I would spend more time on the Oregon Coast & skip Crater Lake. Have fun!

Liberty Harbor Path?

What is the Path & where does it drop you on the NY side? How about the ferry? How many days have you been able to go without dumping? Any honey bucket service available? Thanks! Still trying to figure out what we are doing...

RE: New York City

From what I’ve read, Liberty Harbor will not be available for our trip... Repurposed land...

New York City

We plan on seeing The NY city area from the Newburgh KOA. We are thinking about leaving the RV for a couple of days & using a hotel for the downtown area, looks like most tourist stuff is in Manhattan. Has anyone done this to give us pointers on making this as painless as possible? I am concerned about juggling suitcases & getting to a hotel etc. If we do this, how many nights hotel would you suggest? We are not interested in ball games, but may do a Broadway show ( at our son’s insistence). Where would you stay? Thanks for any advise & insight. NYC looks pretty intimidating!

Fort Pickens vs Fort Barrancas Florida

After reviewing the info online, I am still having trouble comparing these locations & experiences. Can anyone tell me more about what you can see & do at each? Do you need ID to visit Fort Barrancas? Is there more than just the visitor center for tourists? Which do you recommend & why? Thanks!

RE: Where to stay in St Louis?

Maybe I should get your feedback on which attractions are most/least worthwhile? We plan to visit the Gateway arch complex, Grant National Historic Site, Missouri state History Museum & Art Museum, as well as the Missouri Botanical Gardens (Tower Grove House), & of course the Anhaueser brewery for a tour. In view of the reviews so far, HELP!!! Thanks...

Where to stay in St Louis?

The reviews are not encouraging... We want to spend a week seeing sites in and around St Louis, but are a bit skittish about the reputation. Any winners for a large fiver, pull through preferred? How about transit options? Thanks!
