RE: Is this legal???

I wonder where the OP went, probably scared off by all this "legal" talk. :h Probably not a bad thing as he likely never had a legal leg to stand on. LOL.....this thread keeps on going and going, much like a bad case of some medication resistant STD.

RE: New Coachman, Water Pump Issues - Updated/Fixed

You should not have to prime an RV water pump, they're self priming. There can only be a few things wrong. 1- The tank is empty. 2- The Winterization valve is in the open position as its tied in ahead of the pump. 3- The pump is shot. 4- There is a leak in the suction line or somewhere else ahead of the pump, and it's sucking air. The city water connection has nothing to do with it, as its tied in past the pump.

RE: Hitch jack fully extended: Should I be nervous?

The rating of the jack is its maximum rating when fully extended. I don't see what the worry is unless you installed a jack that is rated way below the tongue weight, your loading a couple cubes on bricks in the trailer towards the front, or you just like to worry about things. One thing is certain. Post up a pic of anything on these boards and folks will be along with a gazillion methods to solve the problem you never had to beging with.

RE: Beware New Samsung TVs

You can make fun, but it's a huge business for companies that deal in metadata. x2 it's a big business already, and going to be worse than anything we've seen before it gets better. case in point, China's new "social score" system. It'll take a while to go global but it will, and it will be terrible. Ooooooooooooooh....I'm skeered. Between the 3 Samsung TV's, the amount of online stuff I've done for @ 25 years, and the cameras on the security system connected to a place I've never seen nor even know where it is or who works there, I am shocked. I'm surprised my life savings were not taken, other bank accounts drained, and my identity stolen every other week. I'll have to go looking for the data transmitting discounted Sammies, I could use another. While I'm at it I may as well ditch the tinfoil hat and fashion one from some 1/4" diamond plate. Used to work with a kook who bought into all this Orwellian metadata psychosis BS. Interestingly he was a Facebook and Youtube addict and used his real full name on those and on forums, along with posting his street address all over the net. I often wondered why he didn't post up some important numbers too like SS and CC or bank account #'s. I will keep making fun and ROTFLMA about the direction of this entire thread. Only here.

RE: Is this legal???

LOL.....Contracts and Clauses over a campsite rate increase? Really? I guess the OP could travel from TX to NH and file the paperwork to go before small claims, the magistrate, or whatever they have in NH, then travel back when it's scheduled? Who knows, maybe NH has same day walk in service at the local court. Maybe find a good attorney in NH, or send one up from TX, and sue them. Cost effective that is. I'd bet they have a published policy for this situation, and a lot more people than the OP are in the same boat. Maybe they don't but it matters little one way or the other. They can pay the $80 or not out of principal and find somewhere else, someone else will take the site if the OP decides against it. No amount of RVnet strong arming is going to change anything.

RE: Traveling farther, what to expect from GS Service Dept.

Not sure how asking the question is going to make the next experience better. You bought it there, got suckered into the extended and road service plans, and still paid for warranty work. You already have your answer....first hand experience. I tried to purchase at 2 different Camping World locations in the past, actually 3. And every time was jacked around in one way or another. I can only imagine the service after the sale, as it sucks before the sale.

RE: Beware New Samsung TVs

Ever wonder why smart tv's have gotten so cheap? It's not due in some drastic advance in manufacturing technique. It's the manufacturer selling your future data to places like Facebook, Google, AT&T, Disney, etc, and subsidizing the costs. LOL.....Hard to believe they're not giving them away for free.

RE: RV and non-RV toilet paper comparison video

It's a HOLDING TANK, for Pete's sake. Does the "solid waste" break down? No. It sits there until it is dumped. The same goes for TP. Who cares about it breaking down? When you dump your tanks, the TP will get dumped whether it is "broken down" or not. If you are nervous, get a tank rinser. Pete has OCD and so do 50% or better of the people on RV boards when it comes to truck sales, diesel or gas, brands of anything, tires, toilet paper, motor oil, air pressure, electricity, bearings, wheel chocks, tank chemicals, flushing, etc. etc. etc.

RE: Beware New Samsung TVs

Another thing about Samsung is they make "Smart" TV's.. These have a camera and microphone in them and can work "2-way" that is not only can you watch Tom Cruze fly the unfriendly skies. But Some hacker can watch you walk around .. ah-natural.??? Deal in conspiracy theories much? We have two Samsung Smart TVs, neither have cameras. One has a voice recognition option in case you want to be able to control the TV by voice so it could conceivably be hacked to listen to you but it can be turned off. And if you are really paranoid, you can disconnect the TV from the Internet. The Internet connection is needed for using streaming services. Mainly, Smart TVs report back to the mother ship what you watch. Smart TV Snooping Features No problem. https://i.imgur.com/bkzxvWQl.jpg
