RE: Brakes Stopped Working after CW Visit.

Maybe they broke a wire when they dropped the axle. I checked all the connections at the brakes and they looked good. Looks are deceiving. Looking good and an actual good connection are 2 different things.

RE: Brakes Stopped Working after CW Visit.

Should be a fairly easy fix as there is only one wire that goes to the brakes from the truck.

RE: Coolant

If it were me I would just leave it alone and run it. Why spend money when you don't have to??

It is telling you you need to go into settings . . . apps . . . default apps . . . click on email and set up the default email program. It does not know what to use for one.

RE: Motorhome fire at Holtville hot springs LTVA

Another Norcold fire. That refrigerator should be outlawed. So much for that little black box safety recall . . . If it had one

RE: Fleetwood Storm quality

Fleetwood does make a storm . . . Never heard of it before but I did a search for them and a lot of them came up. Guess I was wrong too

RE: Fleetwood Storm quality

It is their entry model and in my opinion . . . JUNK . . . Don't waste your money. Actually the FR3 is their entry level model, but yes it's on their lower end. The rest of your comment isn't really helpful, especially coming from a DP owner. To the OP, you just need to have realistic expectations. Class B's usually have better quality than most gas class A's. But cost per square foot is also considerably more. In short, Class A's - as most things - you get what you pay for. If you want to spend less on a lower end model just have realistic expectations about what you are getting for your dollar. Most people on here are into brand bashing but at the level you are talking, one manufacturer is as good as another in that space. Hence your findings on complaints are pretty consistent across all brands. "Quality' is hard to come by in the RV world to begin with, let alone at the gasser, lower end scale. It does not matter if my comment was helpful or not. It was my opinion and I was expressing it. The FR3 is a Forest river, not a Fleetwood. Unless I'm missing something.... Al I know . . . I didn't want to embarrass him with his mis-information

RE: What to use for caulking around windows?

You usually dont caulk around windows. They have butyl tape behind them that seals them. If leaking you generally remove the window and put new butyl tape around it. That is the proper way to do it.

RE: Replace my aquahot 375 help

Are you positive the AH is supposed to provide floor heat? We've had two AHs, neither one heated the floors....they were electric. I never had an AquaHot provide floor heat either. It was radiant baseboards near the floor that heated the coach. They had a fan on them and threw out the heat. They were hidden in various locations around the coach.

RE: Replace my aquahot 375 help

I would not buy an RV with a LP Aquahot. I can sit at an RV park and run the diesel aquahot all winter if need be. With propane it will be a fill up every week or so. Just my opinion

RE: DirecTV or Dish

Well we have Dish and it is great. We're on the pay as you go plan with no contracts and their mobile app allows you to change your local channels right on the app when traveling the country. Seems like everything ATT gets into turns to **** like DirecTV

Yup . . . Anything with the Allison 3000 series transmission will be a better choice.

RE: engine antifreeze

Drain the overflow tub and the radiator and replace it with regular anti freeze from Walmart. Or have Walmart do it for you. Not on my worst day. You have either a Fleet Guard fully formulated which has the SCA's in it or you have an OAT coolant depending on the year of your rig. A call to Freightliner can tell you which they put in when built.

RE: Residential Refrigerator – Good or avoid?

Residential refrigerators are the best. I would never go back to a Dometic or a NoCold gas refrigerator. They work better and have less of a chance of catching fire.
