RE: Recommendations for Receiving Mail while Full Timing? in Crestview has been great to work with thus far. It also only took 1.5 hrs to obtain our drivers licences and establish our domicile at the Crestview County Bldg.

RE: Downsizing Complete

We just went through the sale of the house, etc, etc. It's a pain in the A$$ for sure! Should consider setting up your mail service 3 months or so in advance so you can set up your domicile with bank statements, etc showing the new address. Because we're both under 65, we picked Florida and specifically in Crestview, FL. Okaloosa Co was very easy to set up our domicile (drivers licence and voting). Good luck.

RE: Mail Forwarding

We use the goodsam mail service. They will scan and email any documents you request. About once a month, we have them send us everything but junk mail. Ken We use who actually handles Goodsam's mail. Located in Crestview FL. Like above, they will scan. If you stay a week, we've had good luck with campgrounds taking mail and packages. Oklaloosa Co is very-very easy to set up your domicile too if you plan to full time.

RE: Printer

For that kind of use, might look into laser printers. Ink jets can dry out if not used often.

RE: Winnebago Pesticide Policy

There is a lot of overuse of pesticides but, it is overused a lot more in the Agriculture Industry then what it is by campers or homeowners. Tough to make a profit in farming. They don't use them unless they have to apply one.

RE: Hershey Pa rv show

Been there 4 times and in my opinion, well worth it if looking for the right rig for you. It's big and like stated above it can be confusing if you go in with a clean slate. Try to go during the middle of the week. Last year it was crowded on Saturday morning and didn't even go in (was there on Thursday and Friday).

RE: Pulling the trigger...

Hershey is a great show to view all the different gasser Model A's. Recommend going Weds and Thurs because the weekend is very busy. Pick out the model and floor plan you like and suggest bidding it out to 4-5 dealers. Don't need to buy from the local dealer because you'll be full timing. Also start thinking where you're going to setup your domicile/mailing. If you're handy you could set up the Grand Cherokee for towing yourself. There's excellent Grand Cherokee specific videos to help you through baseplate and wiring installations. We picked the towbar below which is a reasonable price option to set up for towing and braking vs other avenues.

RE: Killer Chicken Thigh Marinade

Thanks for sharing. Prefer dark meat and will have to try it.

RE: Winnebago vs Tiffin

Tiffin over Winnebago but IMHO Entegra (Aspira and up) and Newmar are the better Model A's in this class.

RE: Flat tow setup

If you're handy, consider installing a baseplate, toad wiring and a Ready Brute Elite tow bar yourself. Spent $1800 on setting up our Grand Cherokee. Would not be surprised if there are on-line videos showing how to install on a CR-V. I found the videos extremely helpful.

RE: Need Help on how to get health insurance while traveling

We're going to set up our domicile with MyRVMail in Crestview, FL this summer. I called concerning ACA PPO plans and they are still available in the area.

RE: We're you apprehensive going full-time?

Not apprehensive at all and understand there will be a huge learning curve when we start. We begin our full time adventure this fall and have been wanting to do it for the past 15yrs. Read some books, follow bloggers and sites like this are great. I retire next month and DW retires in August. We want no strings attached with a sticks and bricks, look forward the freedom of full time travelling and seeing North America.

RE: 2018 Chevy Equinox 1.6L diesel for toad

I'm looking to get the 2018 Chevy Equinox 1.6L diesel AWD. Dinghy tow list says The AWD can be towed. Anyone out there towing the 2018 Equinox 1.6L diesel AWD? Any issues I need to know before I purchase the car? I believe there's been reports of the death wobble with the Equinox and it's electronic power steering system? May want to do some searches to confirm?
