RE: Why SRW off road?

Well I have a diesel dually now. My next truck camper could go on a srw. I know the advantages of a dually. Trying to educate myself on the advantages of a srw.

RE: Why SRW off road?

Thanks guys. Good explanations. I figured ruts were involved but never considered rocks between the dualies.

Why SRW off road?

This may seem like an obvious question but it’s not to me. Why are srw preferred to drw when getting off the beaten path? Just curious, it is obviously correct from what I have read but I can’t figure out exactly why. Thanks in advance

Lance 960

Anybody take delivery yet? I’m looking for a review. I have not been able to actually see one yet but I am seriously considering one. I’m wondering how it does on a 350 with a srw. Thanks in advance Robert

RE: Get these teenagers outta here!!! Plus magical buff/wax ;)

My kids are older now but I would pull the camper off the truck and set a small tent up under the cab overhang. It was always on the pad and mostly out of the rain. That’s where they stayed and where there stuff stayed. They seemed to like it and so did my wife and I

RE: New license plate for my TC.

I put mine on the truck camper. Last thing I want is for a Leo to pull me over to check my plates. Right or wrong I figure if they can see the real deal on the tc they are way less likely to pull me over to check my plates than if the see nothing in the tc plate holder

RE: Anyone heard of a Combo AC/DC Air conditioner?

Seems to me someone should make a 12volt thermoelectric peltier style dog bed. Put on of these on a dog crate. thermoelectric Cooler, 12V 6TEC1-1270 420W 6-Chip Thermoelectric Semiconductor Cooler Air Cooling Device for Small Space Cooling,Pet Bed Cooling Brand: Yanmis

New wet dry bath concept

Check out this video at the 11:03 mark. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwj0kPPYjZfwAhUNAp0JHYxeACIQwqsBMAB6BAgdEAk&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.youtube.com%2Fwatch%3Fv%3DRMKVQmdYqUI&usg=AOvVaw2eJOerztXDG32G8gyOm9T8 A brilliant concept by Winnebago in their 2022 ekko. This may be old news but I have never seen this. We need this option in truck campers. I would love it. Robert

RE: Host Cascade

I agree. I’ve been waiting to see the Lance 960 in person. None around me yet.

RE: Fantastic fan or maxxair ?

maxx air for me. I had something go wrong with a the hinge after many years. I called to order a replacement part. They sent it to me no charge, not even for shipping. That’s not very common nowadays. I would definitely buy again.

RE: Jump box for dual battery 7.3 diesel

I have a 7.3. My solution was not a jump box but a cheap light 1000 watt generator and small battery charger. Both come in handy at times

RE: Who’s still using a 7.3 diesel truck

I have a 97 350 auto. Still stock with the exception of helper springs and air bags. 180k. Thinking about a new one but even with 25 years, still wonder if I will regret it. Recently switched from a real lite truck camper to a fifth wheel. That truck is rock solid. At 150k I replaced all the bolt ons with a bearing as a preventative measure after I lost the original alternator. Most likely going to get a 2022 and an arctic fox to go with it. We will see.
