RE: All in good humor, not pointed at anybody

Maybe it was access to accurate information that made the difference. If you look long enough on line you can find something or someone who will agree or even enhance to most bizare conclusions or beliefs. On the other hand the internet has been a huge benefit to those who can filter out the junk and the baloney.

RE: Nascar Follies

I will continue watching till the last checkered flag, the only variable is whether that flag is for a racecar or for me.

RE: Tesla Cybertruck

This monstrosity must have been designed by some kid in mommies basement with nothing but a pencil and a ruler.

RE: Nascar Follies

I have a feeling that the Chevys will be much more competitive next year,so JJ may be able to turn things around but the top four are gonna be hard to beat. Then you have some of the young guns who want their place in the sun too, especially Blaney and Elliot. Should make for some interesting races.

RE: Nascar Follies

Saw Kyle on the Fox business channel this morning with Stuart Varney, he did an excellent job of representing a Champion. As a long time fan of the Busch brothers I was pleased at the way he conducted himself.

RE: Tesla is now accepting reservations for semis

The Diesel that weighs 2.5 tons when just filled will weigh less as the truck travels but the batteries will always weigh the same as they always did.Even with only 25% of fuel remaining the truck can still produce the same amount of power. Not so with the batteries which are also affected by temperature differences especially in cold weather.

RE: Nascar Follies

As a fan of Kyle Busch since he drove for Rick Hendrick I am happy to see him get a second Championship.

RE: Electric Mustang

Not to be outdone GM will soon be unveiling the new steam powered Camaro. Which will be fueled by bovine excrement produced by every National Capitol,State or Provincial Capital and each and every Municipal government council, board or other taxpayer funded authority. Even the envirowhakoes gotta love this idea!

RE: Penske has deal to buy Indy racetrac,

My only concern is how does this affect Team Penskes ability to compete in Indy Car races. They are and have been one of the premier teams in the series, hopefully that will be able to continue.

RE: Elon tease -- Tesla pick will look like military vehicle

Where was this thing designed in Moscow? Its the most austere version of a motor vehicle imaginable, he will have to do a lot better than this to compete with the rest of todays pickup builders.

RE: Sale of Direct TV to Dish TV

Wow 4 Billion new customers for this new service, that means that of all 7 billion people who currently inhabit the earth 4 out of 7 will be subscribers. Theres gonna be a lot of mud huts and other rudimentary type accomodations that don t even have telephones or electricity or even running water signing up for this bargain!

RE: Covering up holes in paneling

Get a sheet of decorative paneling something like they use in some RV ceilings, then cut it to fit and glue it to the existing panel.

RE: Nascar Follies

Kyle Busch had every right to be PO,ed, in a playoff situation these guys in the top 16 should not be subjected to the inexperience of these rolling roadblocks in the "play offs". I know that could happen to any driver but at the end of the year 1 or 2 points could determine who wins the Championship. That should not be decided because of someone else inexperience.

RE: How Sad

I think the campground owner did her best to resolve the problem after she became aware of it. It is sad to see a little girl be disappointed, but the lady who made the original reservation should have ensured that her lack of a credit card would not be a problem. I have experienced many situations when renting a car or booking a hotel room required a credit card, debit cards for some reason were not acceptable.

RE: I was flat out wrong about drones.

I know of several real estate people that use them to photograph clients property from different heights and angles. It seems to work very well as a sales tool from what I understand.

RE: Nascar Follies

Truex won that race because he had a car equal to Kyles and maybe a little better but he also drove a smart race, thats why I think he deserved to win.

RE: Nascar Follies

Kyle did every thing he could to catch Truex but by the last 10 laps the tires were pretty well equalized,Martin drove a smart race by working lapped traffic to his benefit and he deserved to win that race. I am a huge fan of both Busch Bros. but Truex won that race cause he deserved to.

RE: 2018 TT has been deemed Total Loss by insurance company

I would buy that trailer from the insurance co. Then get a large volume shop vac and reverse the air flow so that the air comes thru the hose, direct the air into the floor vents. Probably would block off the nearest ones to the hose and run the vac for a couple of hours at least. Also remove all the under body insulation and look for any thing else that needs attention then take it for a drive on a nice warm dry day.

RE: Nascar Follies

Wonder if Rick Hendrick ever thinks about the one that got sent away. Rowdy was a little wild back then but the coach knew a diamond in the rough when he saw one.
