RE: Slide out Problem

The 5TH wheel is 14 yrs old so its getting up there but it is in very good condition.I have had it since it was new so I know its been looked after, this is actually the first time I have had a problem other than replacing the TV and Stereo which were low quality items anyway. Just replaced tires, battery and propane tanks last fall.

RE: Slide out Problem

Thanks for the quick replies,I think its a hydraulic slide, its a Forest River Cardinal 5th wheel. I assume that the soleniod would be under the bed with the slide mechanism so will get a look at it soon. I imagine that there will be some evidence of fluid leakage, is that correct?

Slide out Problem

Just went to check on my 5th wheel today and noticed that the bedroom slide was extended out about a foot or better. This also happened last year but only extended a couple of inches on that occasion. Any one got an idea why this is happening?

RE: Investment Gurus-thoughts?

I am not a financial expert by any means but at the advanced age of 77 years I have always believed that anytime you can pay down debt that you should do so.This gives you a certain amount of financial flexibility and security from changing government policies.I am sure that there are plenty of different opinions on this, but I am just stating what has allowed me to live a comfortable retirement.

RE: Toilet clog

Find a kid that has an old hockey stick that he can t use any more, open the toilet valve and stick the hockey stick down into the tank and start moving it around in a circular motion. If there is an obstruction of some kind you will feel it right away.If you dont feel anything the problem is somewhere else.

RE: Psssst...wanna see a Wall?

If the wall only keeps honest people out that makes it that much simpler to track down the dishonest ones.IE: they will be the illegals that are found North of the wall. Looks like "someone" knows what they are doing".

RE: South of San Antonio

I think that most provinces have a limit of 182 days out of the country before health insurance is cancelled or so I ve been told anyway. On the other hand maybe the US has a limited number of days that you can stay before requiring a visa or other documentation.

RE: Believe it or not !!!

The Indian industry in Canada has created a group of prefered citizens that take offence to every thing. Just try and get a pipeline built and see how powerful the tribes have become. Even the supreme court will seldom rule against them.

RE: All in good humor, not pointed at anybody

Maybe it was access to accurate information that made the difference. If you look long enough on line you can find something or someone who will agree or even enhance to most bizare conclusions or beliefs. On the other hand the internet has been a huge benefit to those who can filter out the junk and the baloney.

RE: Nascar Follies

I have a feeling that the Chevys will be much more competitive next year,so JJ may be able to turn things around but the top four are gonna be hard to beat. Then you have some of the young guns who want their place in the sun too, especially Blaney and Elliot. Should make for some interesting races.

Saw Kyle on the Fox business channel this morning with Stuart Varney, he did an excellent job of representing a Champion. As a long time fan of the Busch brothers I was pleased at the way he conducted himself.

RE: Tesla is now accepting reservations for semis

The Diesel that weighs 2.5 tons when just filled will weigh less as the truck travels but the batteries will always weigh the same as they always did.Even with only 25% of fuel remaining the truck can still produce the same amount of power. Not so with the batteries which are also affected by temperature differences especially in cold weather.
