Bounce is now getting unlimited Belly Scritches

We had to put our Bounce down this morning. She was almost 9 years old. She had feline leukemia and a tumor on her rib cage and had stopped eating and drinking. She's not suffering anymore. She has crossed the rainbow bridge getting all the belly rubs that she wants. These are from 2015, when she was healthier and happier. We will miss her. RIP Bounce. http://i64.tinypic.com/ipuqkz.jpg http://i67.tinypic.com/110w4ep.jpg

19 yr old Girlfriend

We just put my 19 yr old Girlfriend down. This pic is from a few years ago when she was hoarding all her toys. She wasn't happy about the new kitten coming to live with us. Lana and I are going to miss her a lot. She had a good long life. Love you Chrissy. RIP http://i68.tinypic.com/n2ikk5.jpg This one is when I told her she had to stay off the keyboard. http://i68.tinypic.com/2ltk7ky.jpg

How cold before winterizing?

We live in Sparks, NV. Forecasted temps for Monday night are about 22°. We have to leave for Stanford, CA on Tuesday morning. Unit is the Bounder Motorhome. We will be dry camping at Stanford Hosp. The question is, after filling tanks and purging Anti-Freeze, should I leave the furnaces on at about 50°? Or not worry about it? TIA

Drones

Who's got one? What kind? Where do you fly it? Any special purpose for it?

RE: What was the biggest flub on a trip?

We lived in Manteca, CA. Took the Pop-up to Calistoga for some races. Forgot to pack pillows. Drove home and back to Calistoga. Passing who knows how many WalMarts on the way.

RE: Another F53 Cruise Control Post - Help!!

It's behind this panel. http://i65.tinypic.com/6z0x7o.jpg The brown connector is the one. The YELLOW spring clip is critical. It MUST be reused. http://i65.tinypic.com/16m0wh1.jpg

RE: Another F53 Cruise Control Post - Help!!

I'm gonna suggest replacing the brake light switch at the brake pedal. It's a bear to get to but is usually the culprit. On my 2001 Bounder (F53) when cruise was active, if we hit a bump, the cruise would cut off but the brake lights would not activate. Tried putting a Bunjee cord on the pedal to hold it up, wasn't the issue. Put in a new Brake light switch, no more problems.

RE: Water pump won't pull Antifreeze from the jug.

When mine does that I use a funnel and pour the anti freeze into the pick up hose once the pump is primed it will pull from the jug Tried that. Pump does not shut off. Can't get the hose into the jug.

RE: Water pump won't pull Antifreeze from the jug.

The only time I have ever had a problem drawing water from the water tank below the floor or from the jug of antifreeze when winterizing was due to a joint upstream of the pump leaking and drawing air not allowing the pump to pull the liquid. Once I tightened the hose clamps or retaped the joints the pump pulled the liquid fine. Don't forget to retighten the strainer bowel too. We just came back from dry camping for 3 days, water pump on continuously for the ice maker. Cycled normally. On during use, off when taps closed. Teflon taped pump inlet and adapter valve threads, also the strainer's male threads.

RE: Water pump won't pull Antifreeze from the jug.

Yes to all the above, except for the compressor idea. I used the funnel, pump was trying to compress the air in the system. Had to run inside and then open a faucet.

RE: Onan generator fuel filter replaced with a fitting

The leak is coming from the filter. The crimp is failing. I know because it happened to me. ONAN modified their system to remove the filter closest to the engine.
