Could be your battery isn't fully charged.

RE: Long Road trip

There's all kinds of debatable pros and cons to either choice, but one thing about a truck is the built-in safety with airbags a stout frame and roll over protection. Have a look at a motorhome that's been in an accident - not pretty.

RE: comfortable ride in an one ton dually??

If it's non-towing ride your having an issue with I've heard good things about Sulastic shackles.
My dually rides great when I have the Cameo behind it.

RE: Fresh water tank leak

Hi ksg5000,
The leak isn't the valve but rather the fitting the valve screws into, which appears to be glued into the tank.

Fresh water tank leak

Hi, A friend's '97 Pleasure-Way has a leaky fresh water tank at the drain fitting.
I tried a YouTube fix of wrapping thread around the broken fitting and encasing that in epoxy but no joy; still drips, just less.
So, wondering if there are replacement tanks available (a quick Google search came up empty) or if anybody has some ideas on how to implement a permanent fix.

RE: Back Up Camera

I got this a couple of weeks back:
https://www.amazon.com/Wireless-Reverse-Vehicles-Waterproof-Andriod/dp/B084TJRMLY/ref=sr_1_4?dchild=1&keywords=Podofo+Wireless+Backup+Camera&qid=1596156807&sr=8-4
Works quite well, surprisingly, just have to extend the antenna as it drops the WiFi connection sometimes.

RE: The more I learn, the more I realize what I don't know

The only thing I have to add to the conversation is that I like the security of traveling in a truck with multiple airbags, a stout frame and OnStar should anything go 'sideways'.
I've seen pictures of motorhomes post-collision and it isn't pretty.

RE: Geo-coordinates into GM Infotainment Navigation

You might get a response from one of the GM truck forums:
https://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/
https://www.silveradosierra.com/
https://www.gmfullsize.com/
There's a bunch more that deal with Diesels in particular, I'm a member on DieselPlace and there's some really knowledgeable people who monitor the various sub forums, I'm sure you'll get an answer.

RE: If you have a Diesel HD truck - Code reader

The Autel AP200 can do a bunch more stuff than your typical Bluetooth scanner such as regen initiation, live data, scanning GM specific modules etc. I bought it to program keyfob remotes for my older Chevy Malibu, saved money right there, then moved it to my truck and was pleasantly surprised by how much functionality it had on the diesel.
