RE: Andersen hitch

We replaced a bar type WD hitch with the Andersen, our 1/2 ton with the 25RKS definitely gave us an uncomfortable jiggle factor on rough roads with the bar type. We switched to the Andersen and two things occurred, comfort and relaxation/concern about the vehicle in the rear view mirror. This is not to mention the ease of hitching and unhitching.

RE: Trailer Life Magazine

It takes me about the same time to get it to the recycle bin.

RE: Coachman Catalinas

We have a Catalina, 25RKS for 4 years now. We have not had any major issues (knock on wood). We like to travel so the floor plan works real good for us. It pulls very well behind the truck - highly recommended. We too have that model and can't guess how many miles, it is early 2000s model.

RE: Battery?

I have 2 12Vdc deep cycles mostly because the trailer came that way. There have been a few times that was good but don't expect furnace use very long, radio, tv, frig and lighting okay, better with LEDs.

RE: Weight Distribution with sway control question

I found the Andersen a great improvement over the system installed on my trailer. Control, ride, ease of connection and feeling of safety all improved. Picture this, you are on a rough road, staying in your lane, getting feedback from the trailer through the hitch system, you're on edge, your wife wishes she were smaller in all possible manners related to dynamic comfort and you change systems and the feedback is reduced by 90% as are the previous objections but you find no difference in control, perhaps better control due to better attention! As long as my load is in the range, my hitch will be Andersen.

RE: Travel Trailer Newb question RE: WDH

Get an Andersen hitch. Easy hitching, smoothest riding and quietest hitch I have ever had. A quick search on any forum will result in lots of hits. Good luck
