RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Poor Pickles she does not understand, she likes to go for walks in the morning to do her business. There is no place to take her with all the snow. I clear a patch in the back yard for her and she looks at me like you want me to do what!. When she gets to a point were she can't hold it no more she will go after many trips in and out. Unless we get some real warm temperatures we will not see the ground for sometime. It looks like we got well over a foot of snow.

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. Stay safe. With 2020 coming to end and the word of the vaccine starting to be distributed. Maybe 2021 will be a better year.

RE: Ford has released their 2021 towing guide

So now the F150 is max tow rated exactly the same as the best equipped F250 gasser (with 4.30s and no wd). This is going to blow the minds of the uninformed and melt the internet weight police's keyboards at the same time! The internet weight police have been off for a few years. :B

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

If any of you still think this COVID pandemic is not real, this is part of an email I got from Rise Up. Respond. Reinforce our Hoosier Healthcare Heroes. The Indiana Department of Health needs all available licensed healthcare professionals to sign up to serve in the COVID-19 response. This includes those providers who may have a license from another state or those who are retired. We are in need of heroes from every healthcare-related profession, at any level of training (including students), and in positions and locations throughout the state. Please sign up at bit.ly/HoosierHealthcareHeroesRiseUp to be a part of Indiana’s COVID-19 response. When they start asking for help from retired vets to assist in the care for humans, things are critical WEAR A MASK!!! Only if everyone would. I do think more people are starting to wear them in our area. Although you still see some that refuse or have it on wrong. We see a few that have them on to enter a building and then pull it down. The Governor is going to start policing businesses with the W.C. First offense will be a warning second will be a closure up to 24 hours. Never said what it would be after that. Soon the vaccine will be out. Hopefully enough people will take it to make a difference. We will soon as it is available. Stay safe and Healthy

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

We had 7 days in a row over 70 degrees. Today the cold front starts to move in. Oh well it was nice while it lasted.

I watched that interview about the vaccine. Yes it will take a good while before everyone that wants to get vaccinated can get it.

RE: back up and side view cameras

The cameras will display and time out after 8 seconds. Unless I am in reverse the camera will stay on until I go back to drive then switches to front camera until I exceed 8 miles per hour. If I have a back up camera on the trailer and a camera inside the trailer. Both wired and plug into my trucks bumper camera port they will stay on all the time if I choose.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Dale, sounds like a perfect match!! We agree sounds like a great choice. Our first Pomaranian was an older dog. I believe she was around 8 or 9 when we adopted her. She was rescued from a woman that had over 50 dogs. The poor girl only had 1 eye and a broken rear leg that was never set and healed the wrong way. She took to my wife immediately. She was so loving.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

We beat you by a couple of weeks, we had our first on Oct 18. But, it was less than yours, just enough to put a slick cover on leaves. Enough that I ended up on my rear :) I've forgotten how to walk on snow. I'm not looking forward to being in this stuff all winter. Hope you get the warmer weather we're supposed to have the rest of the week (up to 70 for a high by Sat). We did get the warmer weather. Yesterday was the 4th day in a row we hit 70. It looks like we will have highs in the 70's through Tuesday.

RE: back up and side view cameras

To my knowledge the cameras are wired through Jayco’s system. The RV has its own WiFi system and the camera comes with a small monitor for the truck that works with head lights on. But I trying to figure out if I can utilize the cameras with the Truck display.

back up and side view cameras

Just ordered a new fifth wheel with a factory installed back up camera and side view as well. Is there a way that I can connect these to my camera system in my 2020 GMC Sierra with out rewiring the cameras? If so this would be a lot better then viewing them through an additional monitor.

We have Jayco NorthPoint with a built in Onan generator. Runs off of propane and it came with 3 40 lb propane tanks.

We had a first snow of the season yesterday. Not much but it was coming down. All the roof tops where snow covered this morning.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Good morning FOOFs We are camping in Navarre Beach Florida in the Santa Rosa RV resort. This place is a little pricey but it is very nice. We have a spot on the water. This is our first week off since last October when we traveled to Sevierville. I am hoping that work leaves me alone this week. We are planning a trip to Destin today to do some touristy things and eat lunch. There is an Irish pub that we are going to. On Mondays they have a Sheppards pie special so I'm going to try that. Not sure what else we will do this week. We will be heading back home on Friday. I wish this wasn't so far from our home as we really like this area and would come up here more often but it's 500 miles from us. With only having 3 weeks of vacation time, it really limits how far we can travel from home. I hope everyone is doing well. Burch Burch we stayed there in 2014 in Winter for a week or so. Was on site 2 on the water. My wife follows them on Facebook and they have made some upgrades since we have been there. I really would like to go back. Maybe someday.

RE: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story}

Dale Wow glad you guys came through with serious damage or injury. We have heard same things about people messing with our rigs at rest areas or fuel stops. I put a padlock to lock my hitch so no one can tamper with it. I always do a walk around and check things before we leave when we stop. I had a cargo door come open when we were in Idaho a few years back. Fortunately we did not loose anything from inside. Stay safe out there.
