RE: Power jacj

Not knowing the type of unit you have, be sure to get one with the weight rating of you unit. I have had two different units with electric Jack's, would. Not own a trailer without one.
I have a 21 ft travel trailer

Has anyone replaced manual tongue jack with power jack? And what kind? Anyone ever use the one harbor freight sells? Any info would be appreciated.

RE: Anyone Cancelling Truck Camper Trips Due to Fuel Prices?

Just pulled my camper from south Louisiana to Colorado for 2 week vacation. Fuel ate me up across north Texas with the wind. But with 2 small children, and I'm not getting any younger, you can't make
those memories at the house. So we said screw the cost

RE: Running a/c off generator while towing

How are you going to plug the trailer into the generator? Does your trailer cord go out the front of the TT? Is your generator a built in unit? I would worry about the cord being pulled out of trailer if you have the generator mounted outside the camper or in the truck bed.
I was going to mount generator in the back on the bumper, closer to cord, if it will work ?????
Rear trailer bumpers are not built to carry any weight. Have seen more than enough torn off just from bike carriers or spare tires due to very thin material the bumper is made out of. A place to keep sewer hose is about all they were built to handle.
Thanks for the input
