RE: Battery Hold downs

Can you utilize straps instead of a hold down bracket? Mine are just Husky straps from Home Depot. https://i.imgur.com/ac1WQbcl.jpg

RE: Where to stay in St Louis?

Maybe I should get your feedback on which attractions are most/least worthwhile? We plan to visit the Gateway arch complex, Grant National Historic Site, Missouri state History Museum & Art Museum, as well as the Missouri Botanical Gardens (Tower Grove House), & of course the Anhaueser brewery for a tour. In view of the reviews so far, HELP!!! Thanks... The Botanical Gardens in St. Louis is world class. Even if you are not into that type of thing I would budget several hours as a minimum. Maybe the corpse flower will be blooming- that's a rare treat. Also, plan to visit the Hill & have a meal there.

RE: Where to stay in St Louis?

We visit St Louis frequently & my favorite RV is 370 Lakeside just outside St Louis in St Peter's. We had reservations for Memorial weekend but they were dashed because of flooding. I haven't been back since to see if they are all OK again.

RE: Ozark resort

Is the Ozark Resort on Table Rock Lake worth the extra dollars they charge for sites? Sometimes the internet does not accurately describe a cg (tongue in cheek comment)! We are planning a trip to Branson and the surrounding areas. They are a lot of cg's in that area and I was just wondering. We love visiting Branson we live about 4 hours away. We have always stayed in Branson & there are tons of CG's to choose from. We tried Ozark Resort several years ago & it is one of the finest resorts we have ever visited. You won't be disappointed. Staying 40 minutes from Branson is fine for us as we don't need Branson 7/24. Don't think you could go wrong where ever you choose to stay.

RE: roof air

Thanks everyone for the info Also, my lag bolt heads are covered in silicone requiring removing silicone to remove lag bolts. Since it came that way from Newmar I reinstalled new silicone after tightening bolts. Yes, you can do that. What I do is, after installing the lag bolts, I remove and inject silicone into the hole then reinstall the Lag bolts. There is no need to install Silicone over the top of the bolt when you do this. Doug I like your method better. I've had to go up & re tighten my bolts but didn't remove them. Removing bolt & squirting silicone in the hole would also maybe keep me from having to re tighten down the road. :S

RE: Towing Jeep Trailhawk

We tow 3 Jeeps. A 2012 Wrangler, 2015 GC, and 2016 Trailhawk Cherokee. BY FAR, the nicest to tow is the Cherokee. Weight is great, tracks well behind the coach, and is super nice to have a mixture of a little Jeep for off-road or a grocery hauler to get supplies. Why on earth do you need a charge line? And why not the Blue Ox baseplate? It/they are hidden (2 pieces) and very good performance and super easy to install. WW I wanted the charge line to keep the toad battery charged at all times even if I drive at night or do not unhook for a few days. We plan to go with a Demco baseplate because that is the tow bar I already have. I've had Demco and Blue Ox base plates and both are great. I give Blue Ox a slight nod as I now prefer the removable tabs. You probably know this but you cam put Blue Ox connectors on your Demco tow bar also.
